There are two things that make this card for me. The first is the gorgeous flower and the second is the Cane Weave embossing folder. I wanted to keep this card clean and simple. This really highlights the gorgeous flower focal image.

I coloured the flower using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. The first card is Fresh Freesia and the second one is Tahitian Tide. Which do you prefer? Let me know in the comments below.

Sweetest Cherries is another stamp set that I’ve realised I’ve hardly used this year. I’m currently going through my stamps and trying to use those that I’ve not used yet or hardly used. Are you doing the same? If not why not join in and use all those wonderful things you have.

I’ve made this card in two colour ways, one is Sweet Sorbet and the other is Tahitian Tide. I know that cherries aren’t turquoise but I’m claiming artistic licence.

I love stencils and have an extensive collection. Do I use them enough? Of course not, like most crafters I have stuff I love to have but don’t use. I realised the other day that I haven’t used these stencils and they have been in my stash for nearly a year. I don’t want them to retire and I never used them.

The stencil I used today has these little stripes that repeat. It is perfect for this technique of off-setting the stencil. I’ve used a mixture of colours that I have blended together.

I have made quite a few of these no-cut gift bags over the years. I was talking with a customer recently and she reminded me of when I first made this bag. It was at a Guider’s Day about 10 years ago and we made a version of this bag with a set of little cards. That time I hand-stamped my paper, this time I used designer series paper (DSP). It’s called Regency Park.

This bag is super easy to make as there is not cutting or glueing needed to make it. You just score and fold

Stencils/masks are a quick and easy way to make a background for your cards. Here I’ve used two of the masks from the Artistic Masks set. I’ve layered them up to create this fun pattern. Layering stencils allow you to add texture and depth of interest to your backgrounds.

These cards are very tonal. I laid the colour down with a blending brush, using the lighter colour first and adding interest with the darker one. I made this card in two different colour ways. Which do you prefer?

Using Wisteria Wishes Dies to Make a Card – Go to Greetings – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

This is a card I made for April Card Club and I wanted to share it with you. This uses just the dies from the Wisteria Wishes bundle. I love the purples and greens together. They make me think of Spring.

I’ve inked the edges of all the elements in this card. This adds shadow, giving depth and dimension to each die cut. It only takes a minute to do this but it really makes a difference to the finished project.

I absolutely love this card. It’s so cute. I don’t normally make Easter cards but I can’t seem to stay away from this Easter Bunny stamp set with its matching punch.

The colours here are bright and remind me of Spring. The bunny this time is grey where as before I left him white. All the colouring was done with the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. My Smoky Slate is running low but it has lasted quite a number of years. I’m going to try and refill it with reinker and rubbing alcohol. If I’m successful I’ll let you know.

Normally I don’t decorate my inserts but I have done with one. It really lifts the card and takes it to the next level. I think I will try harder to decorate my inserts in the future.

I made a card using the matching stamp set and loved it. I decided to use just the dies this time in the same colourway and am so pleased with how it came out.

The die set from Two Tone Flora not only has dies to cut out the matching stamp set but also this extra die that cuts out a full card front design. I think it’s so pretty with the Orchid Oasis designer series paper behind it.

Hearts can definitely be used all here around. I think they are great for birthday cards as I’ve done here. This is actually a card we made in my virtual card club. You can join in the next one here.

My favourite die in the Framed Florets dies set is this one that cuts out an oval of little hearts. It’s so cute. Next time I want to try it with vellum over patterned paper.

I love the cute little bunny on this Easter basket. This basket is actually just an open box with a handle. I did use a scallop die around the edge on my first sample but I just didn’t like the look. It would be better to use an edge punch. I used a retired one on my second sample.

I haven’t a clue where I got the easter eggs for this basket. You should never eat the chocolates and sweets that live in my craft room as they have all been there for years. i use them time and time again for my projects.
