One Sheet Wonder – How to Make an Easter Basket

One Sheet Wonder – How to Make an Easter Basket – Easter Bunny – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo. Lincoln UK

I love these little baskets. Aren’t they cute? They are made using one sheet of 6″ X 6″ paper and some scrap cardstock for the handle. They are easy to make. There is no glueing and everything is held together with only two brads.

The paper is Glorious Gingham. The colour above is Pretty Peacock and below is Lemon Lime Twist. Which do you prefer? Let me know in the comments below.

The cute little bunny is from the Easter bunny set and I’ve done a little colouring on the cheeks and ears using Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. These do bleed through the card so I punched an extra “blank” bunny to back these on to.

How to Make a Hexagonal-Shaped Bag

How to Make a Hexagonal-Shaped Bag – Zoo Crew – Countryside Inn – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! – Lincoln UK

This bag is surprisingly easy to make. It is a hexagonal bag with a reinforced base. I use a 4″ wide hexagon pattern to make the base and then folded the tabs around it. The above version uses the Zoo Crew designer series paper (DSP). I love the contrast of the black and white, so effective.

I did do another combo which uses the Countryside Inn DSP. Which do you like best?

This bag is a tall version. I made a small version, which you can see below. This would be perfect to hold small stationary pieces such as paper clips and pins.

This bag will fold flat for storage. The sides and base are expandable which allows it to lie flat but also stand up as shown. The bag is a great size to store some notecards and envelopes.

I’ve made this bag in two colour ways. The one above features the Countryside Inn designer series paper (DSP) which I love. The one below is Fresh as a Daisy and the colour is Pecan Pie. Which do you prefer? Let me know in the comments below.

Make this Flap Bag with a Velcro Fastening – Phrases for All – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Lincoln – UK

The bag above is Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock, and below is Old Olive and Calypso Coral. Which do you prefer? The first bag I made had a pointed flap as above but when I made the second one I forgot to make a point and did a normal flap. You can tell me which flap shape you like best.

The closure is velcro dots, you can easily use magnets of course. I like to change it up though and do things differently. It makes life a little more interesting.

This is a very simple but cute make. It would be lovely to put on a friend’s desk in the morning to brighten their day. I first made this bag with my card club ladies last year and it was a hit. I decided to do another one with this gorgeous designer series paper (DSP), Countryside Inn. This paper is all about the blues and I love it. I only bought one pack but am definitely getting another one soon as I can see myself using it again and again. I love blues if you can’t tell.

This bag is actually super easy to make. I enclose a template below. The top has a little magnetic closure though you could also you a velcro fastening as well.
