I love these little baskets. Aren’t they cute? They are made using one sheet of 6″ X 6″ paper and some scrap cardstock for the handle. They are easy to make. There is no glueing and everything is held together with only two brads.

The paper is Glorious Gingham. The colour above is Pretty Peacock and below is Lemon Lime Twist. Which do you prefer? Let me know in the comments below.

measurements

  • Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 6″ X 6″ scored at 2″ on all sides
  • Pretty Peacock / Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock – 1/2″ X 11″

The cute little bunny is from the Easter bunny set and I’ve done a little colouring on the cheeks and ears using Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. These do bleed through the card so I punched an extra “blank” bunny to back these on to.

I love the cute little bunny on this Easter basket. This basket is actually just an open box with a handle. I did use a scallop die around the edge on my first sample but I just didn’t like the look. It would be better to use an edge punch. I used a retired one on my second sample.

I haven’t a clue where I got the easter eggs for this basket. You should never eat the chocolates and sweets that live in my craft room as they have all been there for years. i use them time and time again for my projects.

Aren’t these little baskets cute? This wasn’t my idea, I found it on good old Pinterest and put my own spin on it. The paper is the super gorgeous Flowers for Every Season which I love. I want to make the most of this paper before it retires at the end of April. There is no stamping as the paper is so busy but you can of course add a stamped tag if you so wish.
