I am a total sucker for floral stamp sets. I love them. Flowers do make me happy. I have endless photos of them. Beautifully Happy is a freebie I got from Sale-a-bration (SAB) this year. During SAB you can get a freebie from the SAB catalogue for every qualifying purchase.

It is a two-step stamping set. The stamps are so easy to line up and the Stamperatus makes the whole thing super easy. You could make this card in all colours of the rainbow. It would make a lovely set to give as a special gift.

I find these heart-shaped candles while out shopping recently and couldn’t resist them. I created this little gift box that holds four of them. It has a see-through lid so that the recipient can see the gorgeous candles inside.

This is a simple pizza-style gift box which was made specifically to hold these candles but you could put anything in it. It would be a lovely box to put jewellery in or some special sweets.

The trick to this technique is to use a very light hand when inking over your embossed image. You just need to glide your blending brush over the embossed image with no pressure at all. This way it will pick up the raised embossing only.

I’ve kept this card very tonal. The silver spring charm is quite chunky so make sure it is securely attached using glue dots or wet glue.

Yes, they are meant to be carrots but turned upside down they make my rainbow of trees. I love rainbow cards such as this one. They are bright, fun and uplifting. The little brass brushed butterflies are the perfect embellishment for this card. They give a little shine and lots of texture.

My rainbow colours are:

  • Real Red
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • So Saffron
  • Garden Green
  • Pacific Point
  • Gorgeous Grape

I love how this card turned out. These little owls are so cute. They are from the Adorable Owls stamp set, a freebie during Sale-a-bration. They were made for colouring. I had a relaxing time colouring using my Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. Recently I’ve changed my colouring method. I tend to go from light to dark in each colour instead of the other way around as I did before.

I love wisteria. We have one that curves above the living room window. It looks beautiful every Spring. There is another one in a local village that covers the whole wall of a shop. This inspired me to make this card.

I’ve kept the colour palette quite simple here, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Old Olive. It makes me long for Spring and beautiful fresh flowers.

I love how clean and bright this card looks. It is also a great way to use up scraps. The background is embossed using the new raindrop embossing folders. It just adds a little interest in the background where there are no other elements.

I’ve used the smallest hex die from the Beautiful Shapes dies set. You could use different sizes for extra interest or layer them up as well. The paper is the gorgeous new designer series paper (DSP) Regency Park. It has a lovely spring feel to it.

As you may know, I love colouring. This stamp set, In The Country, is a freebie I got during Sale-a-bration (SAB). Sale-a-bration is one of the best times of the Stampin’ Up! year, for every qualifying purchase you get to choose a freebie from the SAB catalogue. This was one of my freebies.

This stamp set just screams watercolouring to me. I had a lot of fun colouring these images using my watercolour pencils. I find it so relaxing.

How to Construct a Fold Flat Bag

How to Construct a Fold Flat Bag – Dandy Designs – Flowers of Friendship – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

This little bag folds flat for easy storage. We made this in a recent card club and I wanted to share it with you as well. I used the Dandy Designs designer series paper (DSP) that I got free during sale-a-bration. I love the bright and vibrant colours in this paper pack. You get 48 sheets in a pack so you won’t run out anytime soon.

How to Make a Twisted Easel Card – Go to Greetings – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

This is a very simple card to make. The paper is the gorgeous Favored Flowers designer series paper (DSP). This is a freebie from Sale-a-bration. It is full of gorgeous florals that you can either use as a full sheet or fussy cut out to create lots of die cuts.

I’ve kept the design very simple so that the DSP is the focal point of the card. I tried adding various extra embellishments but they didn’t seem to add anything to the design so I left it clean and simple.
