This card is a simple design. There is a cluster of embellishments around a central sentiment. I’ve used a circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies to create my base to stamp my sentiment. I’ve kept to 3 colours for each. This allows them to have a cohesiveness. The sparkle dots give the card that sparkling finishing touch.

The Storybook Moments designer series paper (DSP) contains paper and die cuts. There are two pages of die cuts. They are perfect for scrapbooking and cardmaking. There are focal and smaller images allowing you to create a cute scene easily. I’ve paired both cards with the Timeless Plaid DSP to create two vintage birthday cards.

When I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to have it. It reminds me of the tiles in Islamic art. I love the simplicity of the set and at the same time, all the detail. I’ve only used one stamp to create this lovely border. The image above uses Blueberry Bushel and below Melon Mambo. Which do you like best?

I love cherry trees. In my local area, there are quite several cherry trees. I love watching them come into bloom. This is my ode to those cherry trees. The Frosted Forest bundle includes a stamp set, dies and layering stencils that make colouring easy.

This would make a great graduation or passing exam card. The books are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, an alcohol-friendly ink. They are coloured using Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers, one of my favourite colouring mediums for quick and easy colouring.

Aren’t these mini handbags the cutest? I love them. They each hold a mini pad of sticky notes. Such a cute gift for any stationery lover. I don’t know about you, but I have always loved stationery. All the bright colours and pretty designs. I was that girl at school with a pencil case full of pretty pencils and rubbers.

I made a mistake in the video with the measurements. The correct ones are below.

measurements

  • Bloom Impressions designer series paper (DSP) – 7 1/2″ X 5 1/2″
    • Scored at 2 ” & 5 1.2″ on the longer side and 2″ & 3″ on the shorter side.
  • Pretty Peacock Cardstock – 3″ X 2″, scored at 1 1/4″ from either end on the 3″ side.
  • Pretty Peacock Cardstock – 1/2″ strip x 11 3/4″. X 2 pieces

Don’t be afraid to tear your paper. It is a great cardmaking technique. The direction you tear the paper will determine whether you see the core of the cardstock or paper. The lovely white edge helps the two patterns pop against each other. I’ve paired it with some twine and a sentiment for a simple card design.

This is a great idea to use up those scraps of paper we all have in our stash. These papers all come from the Bloom Impressions designer series paper (DSP) so they match perfectly. This paper is a freebie during sale-a-bration (SAB). For every qualifying purchase, you can choose a free item from the SAB catalogue. This was one of mine. The die-cut sentiment is from the Wanted to Say dies, a firm favourite of mine.

Measurements

  • Basic White Cardstock – 14.35cm X 10cm.
