I’d forgotten how much I love this die and matching stamp set. They are gorgeous. I love the floral stamp and die sets, never tire of them. This is a card we made in a recent card club and I thought I would share it with you.

I have a few tips to share when putting together these flowers. The first is to layer up your pieces before you add glue so you know exactly where they go. Second, is use a silicon mat to stop the glue from going everywhere and thirdly I used my take-your-pick tool to layer the tiny centre of the pansy.

This is a very simple way to stretch your suppliers. I have only used one piece of designer series paper but have used both sides by creating these little rectangles. This gives added interest to the background of my card. You can make it more complicated depending on how you cut your paper.

I’ve paired the background with a birthday sentiment from a great set called “Go to Greetings”. Truthfully it really is a go-to for greetings. The dies are the new Nested Essential dies. I love having different-shaped dies to cut out my sentiments. Just adds some extra interest to the card.

I wasn’t sure about this card at all. I added all the rhinestones and it just made it all come together. It’s amazing how a small finishing touch can add so much to a card. I used the pretty flowers from Petal Park to decorate the simple wreath from the Cottage Wreaths set.

I have made this card in two colour ways, The pink version above or the purple one below. Which do you like best? Let me know in the comments below.

I love all the pretty purples in this card. The Colour & Contour stamp set has a sketchy feel to it. This is great as you don’t have to be perfect lining up your two-step stamping. It will always look great. My favourite stamp in this is the splatter stamp. It just adds something extra to the background, almost like pollen floating through the air.

Make a Fun Hedgehog Card – Phrases for All – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

I was closing the blinds in the Orangery the other day and I saw a cute little hedgehog in the garden. He or She was in the middle of the grass just snuffling about. He looked so content and happy. It is heartwarming to see wildlife feeling safe and happy in our garden. This inspired me to create this sweet card.

I used the hedgehog punch and added detail using the black Stampin’ Write marker for the facial details. I sponged around the hedgehogs to create some shadows and make them look more dimensional.

How to Make a Daisy Card Today – Cheerful Daisies – Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – UK

As I am sure I’ve said many a time, daisies hold a special place in my heart. My granny had a yellow daisy bush in her garden and I’ve many pictures of it growing up. They are such happy flowers and of course, they are related to sunflowers.

I coloured these daisies using the Stampi’ Blend alcohol markers. I inked the background in Balmy Blue, which really makes the yellow / orange of the daisies pop.

How to Use 1 Design – Get 2 Distinct Cards – Go To Greetings – Fresh as Daisy – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! – Lincoln UK

This is a simple design. It is what I call an equal panel design as each panel is the size as the rest. Here I’ve used it in a horizontal design. The pattern does match across the 3 panels and this does add to the overall effect.

Below I’ve used the same design but now in a vertical format. It gives a totally different effect but is essentially the same design. Which do yo prefer?

Masking is a great technique to use when building a scene. It allows you to make some images appear in the foreground and push others into the background. I’ve used masking when stamping these toadstools. I stamped the toadstool on some masking paper and fussy cut the image out. The masked image is stored in the front of my stamp case and can be used time and time again.

I have this cute little milk carton-style gift box to share with you today. The cardstock colour is Pretty Peacock. This is one of our returning colours. It was an In-Colour back in 2019 -2021 and is back now as a member of the Regals colour family.

The designer series paper (DSP) is Fresh as a Daisy. This pattern looks really good against Pretty Peacock. I made this gift box in a different colour way which you can see below. This one is Balmy Blue and the Countryside Inn DSP. Which do you like better?

This is another card we made in May Card club. This is an online card that happens in my Facebook Group. You can find out all the details here. The colours I’ve used for the daisies are Basic White and the new colour Lemon Lolly. I think it really pops well against the dark designer series paper. The sentiment is from Timeless Arrangements. I’ve heat-embossed it in white so it pops. This card has been made in two colour ways. Which do you prefer?
