How to Use the Amazing Phrases Stamp Set – Create a Border – Biggest Wish – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – UK

Amazing Phrases is one of the free sets I got during Sale-a-bration. It has lots of sayings but I focused on the two words, amazing and hey. I stamped them around the edge of my paper to create this fun border for my focal sentiment. The card is very tonal but you could have equally stamped in versamark and heat embossed in the colour of your choice.

This is a very clean and simple design. I love the Uniquely Artistic stamp set. It is a two-step stamping set. The stamp set is a photopolymer one so it is easy to line everything up. It’s summer!! For me, bright colours and flowers are a symbol of summer.

Welcome back to this Focus Friday post. We have been looking at Background / Large Stamps during July. I’ve used this background stamp, ” Rays of Light” to create a background / stamped background. The stamp creates your background with one stamp. I’ve not added much to it as it is so busy already. The sentiment is from Go to Greetings and is a great set with a variety of sentiments and fonts.

Look at this Cute Little Elephant!!! – Elephant Parade – Biggest Wish – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK.

I love how cute this card turned out. I’ve combined two stamp sets here, Biggest Wish and Elephant Parade. This baby elephant is so sweet with her pink balloon walking along the top of the sentiment. I thought about putting on more embellishments but really liked this clean and simple look.

I love hydrangeas. My mother has a huge one in the garden when I was a kid and I just grew up with these gorgeous big blooms. We still have them in the garden now and I’m looking forward them to blooming this year.

The Hydrangea Haven stamp set is a two-step stamping set. This gives extra detail and depth to the image. You can of course colour the images in yourself if you so wish.

Hello, I’m back with another Focus Friday project to share with you. The focus in July is on large / background stamps. I’ve used the Stacked Stone stamp here to stamp the background in different areas. I haven’t used a block to stamp with so the stamping is imperfect and merges into the background in place. This gives an organic and distressed feel to the card.

I love the new “In Colours”. I’m struggling to decide which one I love most. This colour is Orchid Oasis and isn’t it beautiful? Such a lovely deep saturated colour. Very much me, I’m not a huge favourite of pastels but deeply saturated and you are singing my tune.

I love the Best Delivery stamp set. Sadly this set is soon retiring. I will miss it. I’ve stamped the delivery truck on designer series paper (DSP) and fussy cut it out. I’ve then laid it over the stamped image on the cardstock. This is a lovely way to use up scraps and make something cute.

This of course is a Focus Friday post. In June we have been looking at different ways to use our DSP. Paper Piecing is now of my favourite techniques. Such fun and an easy way to add interest to a card.
