This is a card design I’ve used many a time. Little critters always look cute popping through a window in a card. I’ve linked the two windows with the flying balloon.

The creatures are coloured using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. They are one of my favourite colouring items. I’ve used the crumb cake one so much that I will have to buy a new one soon. It’s lasted a number of years though so that is good.

Partial die-cutting is a way to use your dies in a different way. It allows you to cut windows, tabs and pockets with your dies. I’ve here a square die to create this little window. Check out the video below to find out how to do it.

Hippest Hippos is a free set available during Sale-a-bration. When you purchase over £45.00 worth of product, you can choose a free item from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. This was one of the sets I chose.

The little hippo is coloured using the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. This is a fun little card with the hippo peaking out of the circle. It is one of my go-to designs for little critters.

I love making cards that are little scenes. This card uses the Tree Lots Dies that I got as a freebie during Sale-a-bration. They match the Trees for Sale stamp set in the new mini catalogue. It is a Christmas set but I wanted to use the dies in a non Christmas way. I have a few customers who are involved with the Guides, Brownies and Scouts. This card was made with them in mind.

These two little ones seem so happy with their cake. They are having a ball. I’ve done minimal colouring with the Stampin’ Blend Alcohol markers. So who has a birthday soon? It was my mother’s birthday at the beginning of July.

Come and Shake With Me – Simple Shaker Card – Party Puffins – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – UK.

Welcome to this “Friday Focus” post. For the month of April, we are looking at all things Shaker Cards. Today’s card is what I would call a standard shaker card. It uses foam strips and tape to create a shaker card. It has dimension and shakes beautifully.

I’ve not used these shaker shapes in the shaker before. They have been sitting in my stash for the last year and at last, they are seeing the light of day. They are great, bright and fun.

Yes, the Party Puffins are showing us their dance moves again. They are boogying for all they are worth here in this cute bookmark. Now don’t get me wrong, I love the ease of ebooks but nothing can replace a proper book. I will use my kindle when I go away and don’t want to carry a zillion books in my suitcase but at home, I prefer proper books. They are so much easy to cross-reference from book to book or page to page.
