If you love creating pretty and practical papercraft projects, then this chipboard-covered notebook is a must-try! Today I’m sharing how to make this beautiful folio-style notebook using simple supplies and a clever recycling idea that gives stunning results.

A Pretty Yet Practical Project

These notebooks are not only lovely to look at, but they’re also incredibly useful. Whether you use them for jotting down notes, keeping lists, or gifting to a friend, they make a thoughtful handmade item.

I’ve chosen a soft and calming colour palette using Hydrangea Hue cardstock, paired with the gorgeous Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper. The delicate florals and subtle gold foiling add just the right amount of elegance and charm.

Recycle Your Chipboard for Sturdy Covers

One of my favourite parts of this project is using recycled chipboard. If you’ve ever purchased Mix & Match Ephemera Packs, you’ll know they come with sturdy backing boards—perfect for this!

Simply cut the chipboard down to size and wrap it with your chosen cardstock. This creates a strong and durable cover while also being a great way to reduce waste in your craft room.

Beautiful Folio Style Design
