How to Make a Bag that Expands – Celebrate with Tags – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK
This bag will fold flat for storage. The sides and base are expandable which allows it to lie flat but also stand up as shown. The bag is a great size to store some notecards and envelopes.
I’ve made this bag in two colour ways. The one above features the Countryside Inn designer series paper (DSP) which I love. The one below is Fresh as a Daisy and the colour is Pecan Pie. Which do you prefer? Let me know in the comments below.

- 9″ x 5″ scored on the longer side at 4″, 4 1/2″ & 5″ X 1 piece
- 4″ X 2″ scored on the short side at every 1/2″ X 2 pieces
- Countryside Inn / Fresh as a Daisy DSP – 4 3/4″ X 3 3/4″ X 2 pieces
