This is another card we made in May Card club. This is an online card that happens in my Facebook Group. You can find out all the details here. The colours I’ve used for the daisies are Basic White and the new colour Lemon Lolly. I think it really pops well against the dark designer series paper. The sentiment is from Timeless Arrangements. I’ve heat-embossed it in white so it pops. This card has been made in two colour ways. Which do you prefer?

I’ve used the Beautiful Balloons dies on their own here. The paper is Bright and Beautiful. I love that the paper has these variations in colour as it gives the ballons extra interest with no extra work. The embossing folder in the background is Raindrops and I love it. It just adds a little something to the background. This is a card we made in May Card Club. You can find out more about my classes and clubs here. Some are in person and some are online.

I love making rainbow-style cards. They are a great way to use your scraps and who doesn’t like to use their scraps up? I love when I’ve made the most of my stash.

This is a very simple design but the sentiment makes the card. I love big bold sentiments. They make easy cards. I’ve cut 1cm strips of cardstock to make this rainbow. My rainbow colours are:

  • Real Red
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Granny Apple Green
  • Azzure Afternoon
  • Gorgeous Grape

measurements

  • Night of Navy Cardstock – A6 Cardbase – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half
  • Basic White Cardstock – 14.35cm 10cm
  • Strips of cardstock in the rainbow colours above. These are 1cm wide and at least 15cm long.

Introducing New Blue Colours Thanks Card – Biggest Wish – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

I love all the new blues that have been introduced to our colour families. They are so pretty. I decided to compare some of them here in this card. I’ve repeatedly stamped the same sentiment in different colours. It really works well.

The stamp set is a firm favourite of mine, Biggest Wish. I’m so happy that is carried over from last year’s catalogue to this one. I would be lost without it.

I love pretty notebooks, who doesn’t? I don’t end up using them all but I still love all the pretty patterns. Today I’ve decided to make my own. I bought a cheap notebook and made this pretty cover. Hopefully, now I will use it!!

I made this notebook in two different colour variations. Which do you prefer the Night of Navy or the Copper Clay?

I first made this bag with my card club ladies last year and it was a hit. I decided to do another one with this gorgeous designer series paper (DSP), Countryside Inn. This paper is all about the blues and I love it. I only bought one pack but am definitely getting another one soon as I can see myself using it again and again. I love blues if you can’t tell.

This bag is actually super easy to make. I enclose a template below. The top has a little magnetic closure though you could also you a velcro fastening as well.

The Lazy Days stamp set screams long hot summer days to me. It was, for this reason, I was in two minds about buying it but then I thought some more. You can use this set in many different ways. It could even be used for a Christmas card with the rocking chair next to a tree and a pile of presents. Once I could see the versatility of the set it as in my basket.

My favourite image in this set is the rocking chair. My Granny used to have two rocking chairs in the lounge and now I have them. As a child, I used to love rocking in the chair and so rocking chairs hold a special place in my heart.

I love daisies. My grandmother always had a yellow daisy bush in her garden. I’ve tons of photos of me and the daisy bush. This card reminds me of her, even though she is long gone, I still love her to bits.

This is an easy two-step stamping set. The daisies are easy to line up, even without the now-retired Stamparatus. You just need to make sure you are looking straight down over your stamps. This makes lining up your stamps much easier. I’ve made this card in two different colour combinations. Which do you like better?
