I have this elegant floral thank you card to share today. This card features the stunning Painted Lavender stamp set. It is a two-step stamp set which allows you to create these gorgeous flower spikes.

Lavender is such a classic scent and flower. Did you know it is a member of the mint family? It’s been used and cooking and herbalism. I think it’s a beautiful flower to say thank you. Lavender symbolises serenity and elegance, perfect for a card. Do you agree?

I recently bought a new storage system for my sequins. Of course, I found many more than I thought I had. I need to use them up and the best way to do that is shaker cards.

The gorgeous flower on this card is fussy cut from the Delightfully Eclectic designer series paper (DSP). It is the perfect embellishment with some white foliage using my ever favourite Bough punch.

I made these cute little matchboxes to hold lip balms. I matched the colours of the paper and cardstock to the colours of the lip balms. These make great little treats or gifts.

These would also store lipsticks and a longer version would hold a mascara stick. I think these would be great as part of a make-up hamper for a special friend or child.

I love this cute little postbox from the Stamped with Love stamp set. Recently I’ve noticed all our local postboxes and taken note of the emblems on them. Our local one is from the reign of George V and the one around the corner is even further back to Edward VII. I did see one in a local village that is Queen Victoria. Amazingly, these post boxes have been standing for so long. I do love a hit of history.

This little post box has been coloured using Cherry Cobbler and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. The envelope is Soft Sea Foam.

The cardbase is one of our notecards with matching envelopes. It is smaller than a standard A6 card base and perfect for a little thank-you card.

Measurements

  • Soft Sea Foam Cardstock – 4 3/4″ X 3 1/4″
  • Poppy Parade & Crumb Cake Cardstock – 4″ X 2 1/2″

This is another card we made in May Card club. This is an online card that happens in my Facebook Group. You can find out all the details here. The colours I’ve used for the daisies are Basic White and the new colour Lemon Lolly. I think it really pops well against the dark designer series paper. The sentiment is from Timeless Arrangements. I’ve heat-embossed it in white so it pops. This card has been made in two colour ways. Which do you prefer?
