I love stamping my own patterned paper. This background is definitely festive, bright and bold. The Modern Garden stamp set has a choice of various florals. It’s also a two step stamping set. I’ve just used one floral and repeat stamped.

The foliage brings this card together. I do want to mention how I did the flower centres. I used a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write marker to colour the centres and added interest with some dots using the Crushed Curry marker.

I wasn’t sure about this card at all. I added all the rhinestones and it just made it all come together. It’s amazing how a small finishing touch can add so much to a card. I used the pretty flowers from Petal Park to decorate the simple wreath from the Cottage Wreaths set.

I have made this card in two colour ways, The pink version above or the purple one below. Which do you like best? Let me know in the comments below.

I’m really pleased with how this card turned out. I do love pink and blue together. Do you like them as a combination? The colours here are Melon Mambo and Azure Afternoon. Azure Afternoon is a new colour to our Brights colour family and I love it. So bright and dare I say it blue.

Funnily enough, I’ve used the punch that goes with the Petal Park stamp set more than the actual stamp set. I love punches and I hoard them. There is a huge collection in my retired drawers. I wanted to use the stamp set though and this is the card I came up with.

The leaves are actually the same stamp, once stamped the right way up and then again upside down. At first, the two areas of foliage looked very weird even after I added the flowers. The sentiment between the two foliage elements brought the card together.
