I absolutely love the Poinsettia Petals stamp set. It carried over from the catalogue last year and I was so pleased. If you have read my blog before you will know I adore poinsettias and colouring. This card is a match made in heaven for me. I used the Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers to colour. I put a talking book and spent a lovely, relaxing time colouring in.

The Stampin’ Blends come in combo packs of a light and dark of each colour. If I wanted more shading I used more than one colour eg I used Real Red and Cherry Cobbler for the red and Olive and Mossy Meadow for the green.

measurements

  • Mossy Meadow A6 Cardbase – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half
  • Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 14.35cm X 10cm
