Coffee Cup Sleeve – Make it Pretty – Stampin’ Up! – Warm Hugs

I love these cute coffee cups. They are so cute. I personally don’t drink coffee as I find it too bitter and I don’t to keep adding sugar to make it passable. I intend to use these as treat holders for bags of chocolates or even candy canes.

And yes, the caddy is also Stampin’ Up! Next time I want to decorate it too and perhaps make the treat holders into candy cane holders now that we no longer have the punch board to make treat holders.

You will need to sacrifice one cup to make a template for the wrap. There are dies to make the sleeves and all the accessories.

Try This Pretty Gift Box filled with Yummy Chocolates

Try This Pretty Gift Box filled with Yummy Chocolates using the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK

Try This Pretty Gift Box filled with Yummy Chocolates
Try This Pretty Gift Box filled with Yummy Chocolates

I’ve not been going out much in the last few months. The other week I ventured out to Poundland. I went early around 8am before anyone was around. I picked up these chocolates and decided to make a little box to give them as little gift.

The paper here is the Peony Garden. It is a quite a pastel set of paper and therefore looks good against a dark background. I think the glittered black ribbon just make this box.

measurements

  • Basic Grey cardstock – 10″ X 5 3/4″, scored:
    • On the 10″ side at 1″,4 1/2″, 5 1/2″ & 9″

Tucked in Lid Cute Gift Box – Stampin’ Up!

I have a cute little gift box with a tucked in lid to share with you today. This is a perfect size for a piece of jewelry or even some charms for a favourite charm bracelet.

Tucked in Lid Cute Gift Box - Stampin' Up!
Tucked in Lid Cute Gift Box – Stampin’ Up!

This three tone purple ribbon is lovely. I never used it when it first came out but I’ve changed that now. Do you like it? This box is very easy to make. I made a template and once you have a template you can make as many as you like. You can store them flat and just seal up the base when you want to use them. Here is the template.

I love little bags and boxes. They are perfect to give small gifts to special someones. It is so nice to give little gifts to people when they least expect it. Bringing a smile to someone’s face is one of the greatest gifts you can give.

Doggy Curvy Keepsake Box – Stampin’ Up!

I’ve this super cute doggy curvy keepsake box. I’ve not used the mini curvy keepsake box much and decided this was the perfect time for it’s revival.

Doggy Curvy Keepsake Box
Doggy Curvy Keepsake Box

I love how this has turned out. The little doggie image is from the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper. It matches the Pets dies which not only cut out a cat and dog image from the DSP but of course the matching stamp set. How cool is that!!

Here is the cat version of the box. I am more a cat person that a dog person but do love both. In regards these cute boxes I do prefer how the dog one turned out. Which do you prefer?

Cat Curvy Keepsake Box

The curvy keepsake box is made from half a sheet of A4 cardstock. The colour I’ve used here is real red as it matches the colour in the Playful Pets DSP. These boxes are so dinky and they would be perfect to hold a little gift. I was thinking of a little dog or cat charm to add to a charm bracelet for a special someone.

Flower Box – Cute little Birthday Gift Box

Hello again, I’m back with this cute little gift box to share with you. I love the Flowers for Every Season designer series paper (DSP). It is so pretty on this cute little flower box. I’ve already bought two packs of it!!

Flower Box - Cute little Birthday Gift Box
Flower Box – Cute little Birthday Gift Box

The overriding colour here is Misty Moonlight. It is one of the new 20-22 in-colours and fast becoming a personal favourite. These boxes are super easy to make. It is my mother’s birthday next week and I think I will be using them to put a few little gifts in. We can’t go out to eat as both of us are considered clinical vulnerable and to be honest, are too scared to go to a restaurant. I want to make the day special through some handmade items though.

measurements

  • Misty Moonlight – 6 7/16″ x 6 7/16″ score at 1 1/2″ on each side
  • Flowers for Every Season – 6″ X 6″, score at 1 1/4″ on each side

I love working with this DSP and I’m so glad that I have the whole next year to make projects with it. I really want to start on my mini album using this paper. It will be to show off all the beautiful photos of the flowers in our own garden and those I see in surrounding villages on my travels.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoyed this project. I would love to see your creations as well. As always there is a video tutorial and supply list below. Until next time, Keep Being Creative!!

Poppy Birthday Box – Peaceful Poppies

This poppy birthday box is a coordinating piece to the birthday card I posted below. I’ve used different patterns from the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper (DSP) to make this box. I think it turned out super cute. What do you think?

Poppy Birthday Box - Peaceful Poppies
Poppy Birthday Box – Peaceful Poppies

I especially love the pattern above with the red poppies against the blue background. It is so pretty. I’ve always thought blue and red go very well together.

The sentiment used here is the same as the card I posted on Wednesday. The stamp set is Peaceful Moments and has some great sentiments. I’ve used the circle punches so that you need no dies to make this box.

measurements

  • Poppy Parade – 8″ X 8″ scored at 2″ on all sides
  • Peaceful Poppies DSP – 7 1/16″ X 7 1/16″ scored at 1 1/2″ on all sides

I’ve made this box before using the Magnolia Lane DSP and Mossy Meadow cardstock last year and thought I would make it again. It is a very simple and easy box to make and can be made in bulk easily. I also must say I love the Poppy Parade textured weave ribbon. I have a few reels of it and just have not been using it so I want to change that too.

Maltesers Box – From My Heart – Stampin’ Up!

This box turns a simple box of Maltesers into something special. It is very easy to make and the paper does all the talking.

Malteser Box - From My Heart - Stampin' Up!
Maltesers Box – From My Heart – Stampin’ Up!

As I said this is a great way to jazz up a box of Maltesers. I’ve used the From My Heart Designer Series Paper (DSP). It is a great paper for Valentines’Day but also for any occasion when you want to celebrate someone. I love the foiling on each sheet which adds a touch of luxury.

The box is made in the style of a pizza box from one sheet of 12″ x 12″ paper. This includes the belly band. I would love to send this to an old school friend of mine in Sydney but I don’t think it would hold up in the post so I will have to send it via this blog.

measurements

  • From My Heart DSP – 11 1/2″ x 8 3/4″ Scored at:
    • 1 1/2″, 5″, 61/2, 10″ on the 11 1/2 side
    • 1 1/2″ and 7 1/4″ on 8 3/4″ side.
  • From My Heart DSP – 11 1/2 x 3 1/4″ – This is the leftover from cutting the above piece.

Golden Honey Bee Box – Stampin’ Up!

I have this gorgeous little side opening gift box to share with you today. This uses the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

Golden Honey Bee Box - Stampin' Up!
Golden Honey Bee Box – Stampin’ Up!

This paper is gorgeous. It is black and white with gold foiling on one side. It is very elegant. The black and white side is perfect for male cards. This paper coordinates with Honey Bee Bundle in the new catalogue.

This box is a cute side opening box. The sentiment is simple and I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder to match the paper. It is punched out using the Label Me Fancy punch which actually can punch not just the shape but also the hole for the twine.

Measurements

  • Golden Honey DSP – 7″ X 8 1/2″
    • Scored on 8 1/2″ side at 1″, 4″, 5″, 8″
    • Scored on 7″ side at 1″, 2″, 6″

This box can be stored flat if you don’t seal the base and therefore take up little storage space. I’ve used two different patterns here. Which one do you prefer?

Card Storage Box – Made from Chipboard

I have a card storage box to share with you today. This storage box is extra sturdy as it is made from chipboard as opposed to cardstock. This means it will last longer and can hold lots more. This box is also perfect to store your stickers, embossing folders and if you widen it even your dies!!!

Card Storage Box - Made from Chipboard
Card Storage Box – Made from Chipboard

The box is held together with 1-inch binding strips of cardstock. They act as bias binding, holding all the pieces together. I have put strips on the inside and outside of the box for extra stability. The chipboard is black so doesn’t need to be wrapped or covered in additional cardstock. I purchased the chipboard online.

The box is decorated using the Toile and Tidings Designer Series Paper. This paper is real red on one side and garden green on the other. The background colour is actually Very Vanilla and not Whisper White. This gives the paper a great vintage feel

My initial sample had slope sides above but when I filmed the video I forgot to angle my sides and so they ended up straight. Which do you prefer? let me know in the comments below.

Card Storage Box - Made from Chipboard - straight sides

I am really enjoying making projects with chipboard and have many more ideas in the pipeline. Sometimes I think we can get bored of cardmaking. It is good to expand our creativeness and take ourselves out of our comfort zone.

Other Projects

The video is quite long but this project does take longer to make than a card. Some parts of the video have been sped up but you can slow them down again on YouTube if you want to see it in real-time. The supply list is below as always.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you liked this project as much as I enjoyed making it. Until next time Enjoy Being Creative!!
