I love turning something ordinary into something pretty. These little post-it note holders make great little gifts. Wouldn’t it brighten someone’s day to leave this little beauty on someone’s desk at work to let them know they are appreciated?

This is a bag but it has a rectangular base like a box. As the patterned paper is wrapped around the base there are no corners but rather these lovely curves instead. I’ve made this bag before earlier this year and wanted to try it again for Autumn with this Harvest Meadow designer series paper (DSP).

  • Bumble Bee Cardstock – 5″ X 4″ scored at 1″ on all sides
  • Harvest Meadow DSP – 4″ X 10 1/2″
  • Misty Moonlight Cardstock 10″ X 1″ scored at 1/2″ on the short side X 2 pieces

This bag has a box base with the designer series paper (DSP) wrapped around to create this beautiful curve. The dsp is Berry Delightful. Now I’m not a fan of berries normally but this paper is beautiful. Do you like it? The pretty handles just make this bag. I would be so happy to receive this from someone.

Soft Suede Handbag – All Dressed Up – Stampin’ Up!

I have his mock soft suede handbag using the All Dressed Up dies from Stampin’ Up! I love the soft suede and the gold details together. It just looks so elegant.

Soft Suede Handbag – All Dressed Up – Stampin’ Up!

This die set is part of a bundle with the matching dress to impress stamp set that I have used here. The diet is very versatile as not only does it cut out this bag and all the embellishments but also the images from the stamp set such as a shoe and perfume bottle.

Are you a fashionista? I have to confess I’m not. I tend to go around in the same few sets of clothes each week. Leggings and jumpers are my favourite friends. Since I work from home I don’t have to dress up smartly for work either.

This project was meant to be part of YouTube hop but unfortunately due to the current pandemic many people have’t been able to participate as hoped. I will link below my fellow designers who have participated though.

Best Dressed Mini Handbag – Stampin’ Up!

Today I have this darling little mini handbag to share with you. It features the Best Dressed suite of products and it is perfect for that girl about town.

Best Dressed Mini Handbag - Stampin' Up!
Best Dressed Mini Handbag – Stampin’ Up!

I decided to use Purple Posy as my main colour. This is a colour I haven’t used yet and decided that had to change. Unfortunately we no longer the Purple Posy ink pad but I used Blackberry Bliss and I think it works well together.

The Best Dressed suite is a great collection of the products. The highlight of which is the All Dressed Up dies. They include the die to make this beautiful handbag as well as a ton of accent pieces such as buckles and buttons. There are also dies to cut out the matching stamp set of lipstick, perfume bottles and shoes. The designer series paper (DSP) matches these images with the reverse side being lovely floral images.
