Make a Cute Bag with a Square Base using the Berry Delightful DSP. Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

How many of you search Pinterest for inspiration? Yes, I’ve fallen down that rabbit hole. I saw this project on there and adapted it to my own style. I hope you like it. This designer series paper (DSP) is Berry Delightful. It’s beautiful and reminds me of summer. Personally, I can’t wait for summer. Do you grow any fruit? We do grow vegetables but not fruit, perhaps this year we might try some strawberries.

Purple Posy – Beautiful Gift Bag – Make it Simple – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

The colours here are Gorgeous Grape and Purple Posy. Don’t they go well together? I love it. I wish I had tried this combination earlier. This bag is very easy to make and looks so pretty. The sentiment is from one of my favourite sets, “So Sentimental”. The crinkled seam binding just sets it off lovely.

This bag uses the Field of Flowers designer series paper (DSP) which is a freebie you can earn in Sale-a-bration. You can make two of these bags from one sheet of 12″ X 12″ paper which is great. It holds a lovely packet of chocolates for a sweet treat for someone special.

Make a Magnetic Closure Christmas Gift Box

Make a Magnetic Closure Christmas Gift Box – Brightly Gleaming – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I’ve used the Brightly Gleaming designer series paper (DSP) here to make these cute little gift boxes. I think the copper foiling really pops against both the Real Red and Melon Mambo pink. These boxes were both made using scraps of DSP from making another gift box which I will feature shortly on this blog.

I used small neodymium earth magnets that I got online for the magnetic closure. I covered both with some DSP so that the magnets were not so strong. The stamp set is Wrapped in Christmas and has some matching dies as well. This sentiment also matches the 1 1/2″ circle punch perfectly as well. I love punches and tend to use them rather than dies whenever I can.

How to Make a Christmas Table Favour Bag – Tis The Season – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

These bags would be perfect for a table favour any time of the year but I love this Christmas version. You could put a little Ferrero Roche in each one. They are super easy to make as they involve no cutting at all.

Considering Christmas this year is likely to be very different for most people than normal, it will be nice to make it extra special. These little handmade touches make any occasion extra special. You could use the same Tis The Season designer series paper to make little place names or Christmas decorations.

Coffee Cup Sleeve – Make it Pretty – Stampin’ Up! – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I love these cute coffee cups. They are so cute. I personally don’t drink coffee as I find it too bitter and I don’t to keep adding sugar to make it passable. I intend to use these as treat holders for bags of chocolates or even candy canes.

And yes, the caddy is also Stampin’ Up! Next time I want to decorate it too and perhaps make the treat holders into candy cane holders now that we no longer have the punch board to make treat holders.

You will need to sacrifice one cup to make a template for the wrap. There are dies to make the sleeves and all the accessories.

Poinsettias, with their red leaves, just say Christmas time to me. I was surprised when I saw the Poinsettia Place designer series paper (DSP) and realised none of the poinsettias were red. Being a naturally curious person I decided to do a little research. I found that now there are different varieties of poinsettia with pale yellow, plum and dusty pink bracts.

These bags would be perfect for any time of the year. The berries are autumnal and the flowers do not ring out Christmas as they would with red leaves.

Yummy Treats – Gift Bag – Stampin’ Up!

I have this cute little gift bag to share with you today. It is perfect bag to give with some yummy treats. I have used chocolates here but you could equally have biscuits or sweets.

The designer series paper (DSP) is the Artistry Blooms paper and I love the ombre effect. I had to raid my mother’s stash of chocolates as I don’t them. As a Type 1 Diabetic and I find it just too difficult to match my insulin to the sugar in the chocolates with it causing issues so I don’t bother. I was never a chocolate fan so it’s no great loss to me. Head the warning though, never eat chocolates or sweets found in my craft room as they will be years and years old!!!

I think a little stack of biscuits would have looked good. Unfortunately, I haven’t baked in years. I did in London but here we have a fancy oven with sorts of programmes, bottom heat, top heat, circa roasting etc… I’m not sure which to use for baking and don’t want to ruin the biscuits so sadly I haven’t tried at all.

Sunflowers Bag – Small Gift Bag – Stampin’ Up!

Yes I have more sunflowers to share with you. This is a sunflowers bag. The bag is very easy to make and show cases the lovely Flowers For All Seasons designer series paper.

This is a simple box to make. It follows the 2,4,6 & 8 rule. Each side is the same and only uses one sheet of 6″ X 6″ DSP to decorate it. The background colour is cinnamon cider which is one of the new in colours. It matches the centres of the sunflower so well.

This little bag is perfect for a small gift for a special friend. You could put in their favourite mascara or lipstick. It makes the gift even more special.

Best Dressed Gift Box – Stampin’ Up!

This is the last project I have to share with you from the 2019-2020 catalogues. They retire today!! My last make is this Best Dressed Gift Box which features the designer series paper of the same name.

The purple in this box is Highland Heather and isn’t lovely. It reminds me of the wisteria that is growing over the top of my front window. I am not a traditional girly girl and initially I thought I would hate this paper as it is full of lipsticks and handbags and such like. I then discovered the otherside are these lovely florals and I was hooked.

As I’ve been driving in my local area to the supermarket, chemist and grocery shop I’ve been struck by the beautiful wisteria, laburnum and of course the glorious lilacs. We have two purple lilacs in the back garden and they are such a pleasure to see. The leaves of the trees are all new, fresh and so green!!! This was my inspiration for this floral and spring feeling box.

The box itself holds four tealights so is perfect for a little extra birthday gift or even as a table favour for a special at home date night.
