I am a big fan of big, bold sentiments. The More Wishes stamp set is one of my favourites and will never leave my stash. I’ve used it so many times. The font and size are great. I’ve stamped it here alternatively in Shaded Spruce and Real Red, creating this dramatic card.

measurements

  • Thick Basic White Cardstock – A6 Card Base – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half.
  • Shaded Spruce / Real Red designer series paper (DSP) 14.35cm X 10cm

I’ve wanted to use this frame from the Autumn Expressions die set with the Gold Foil sheet since I saw it in the catalogue. It looks so good and adds a touch of elegance to this card. This card uses only 1 sheet of 6″ X 6″ Splendid Autumn designer series paper (DSP). We made this in a recent card club and everyone loved it.

Reindeer Fun – A Simple Idea to Use This Set – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK.

I love all deer. Reindeer have been synonymous with Christmas since the poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas”. You won’t find reindeer where I am in the UK. There was a company that used to bring them for a parade to Lincoln many years ago. That has stopped and I am glad as I used to feel sorry for the poor deer in small enclosures on concrete paving.

This image of her mother deer and her baby melts the heart. Deer are graceful and athletic creatures and to see them in their natural habitat is such a treat. These deer are coloured using only a couple of different Stmapin’ Blend alcohol markers. You don’t need a huge collection to achieve a beautiful image.

The minute I saw the Snowy Wonder stamp set in the new catalogue, I knew I wanted it. I love all these small images. They are versatile. I have so many ideas for future cards using this set. Today I’ve used the gorgeous little penguin. In my mind, the penguin is dancing with the candy cane. I was thinking of Fred Astaire but as a penguin.

I don’t know about you, but quick and easy cards are always a win for me. The ephemera packs and designer series paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up! make this so easy. The Snowy Wonder dies cut out many of the images in the Snow Scenes DSP. I love it when dies and the paper coordinates. No fussy cutting. Yes!!!
