I have this bright and definitely red birthday hearts card to share with you today. Normally I don’t like lots of hearts but I seriously love the From My Heart designer series paper (DSP). I think it’s because it is red and I adore red.
This card is very easy to make but still quite striking. I made another one where I had the hearts in a row so changed it up this time and made them in a column and it works well.
This paper was used a lot for Valentine’s Day and then forgot about which is sad. As you can see here it works well for birthdays or even friendship or thank you cards.
As I am writing this I am thinking that we could all do with a little extra love right now. How are you coping with the restrictions? I am in the UK and our restrictions are easing. I’m not too sure about this. My degree a long time ago was Molecular Biology and therefore I have to say I enjoy all the statistical data we are given and reading up about the science of it all. At the same time, it scares me as I know how easily things can go wrong as well.
Enough of the doom and gloom though and back to the card. I’ve used the colours in the DSP and punched the hearts out using the matching heart punch pack. The sentiment is from Butterfly Wishes and the font and size is great to fit in the timeless label punch.
