How I Made this Pizza Slice Style Gift Box

How I Made this Pizza Slice Style Gift Box – Limited Edition – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – Lincoln UK.

I’ve seen many people make this box and eventually decided to give it a go myself. We actually made this in the online card club that I host each month in my Facebook Group. If you want to join us, check out the details here.

One tip I will give you in making this box is to try to be as accurate as possible in your scoring and cutting. It will save you hassle later. on.

Measurements

Balmy Blue Cardstock –
- 8″ X 4″ scored at 3 1/2″ & 4 1/2″ on the long side, Mark the 2″ point on the short side.
- 9″ X 1 1/2″ scored at 4 1/2″ on the long side and 1/2″ on the short side
- 8 ” X 1 1/2″ scored at 4″ on the long side and 1/2″ on the short side
- 4″ X 3 1/2″ marked at 2″ on the long side
Real Red Designer Series Paper (DSP)
- 3 3/4″ X 3 1/4″

I love the new “In Colours”. I’m struggling to decide which one I love most. This colour is Orchid Oasis and isn’t it beautiful? Such a lovely deep saturated colour. Very much me, I’m not a huge favourite of pastels but deeply saturated and you are singing my tune.

Make a Mini Slimline Card – Happy Birthday – Biggest Wish – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – Lincoln UK.

I don’t think I’ve ever shared a mini slimline card with you before. They are a cute size. There is much less space to fill up so they are perfect for fast and easy cards.

I’ve stepped this card by gold heat embossing the sentiment. Heat embossing always makes a card something special. There is something magical about the dull powder turning gold and shiny.

Make a Beautiful Thank You Card Using Die Cuts – Amazing Thanks Dies – Eden Dies – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

This is a card we made recently in card club. I host an online card in my Facebook group each month. You receive a kit that includes everything you need to make cards just like this one.

This card uses only designer series paper (DSP) and die cuts. So effective!!! The juxtaposition of the dark Sunprints DSP and the white dies, really make each pop so well.

The colours I’ve used here are Tahitian Tide (blue) and Sweet Sorbet. I love blue and red/pink together. They really make each other pop. Everything is hand stamped. I love stamping my own backgrounds as you can tailor them to exactly our own tastes.

Wild & Sweet. Make this Cute Koala Card with Me – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator – Lincoln UK.

Isn’t this little koala the cutest? I love him just hanging out in the tree. As you may remember my maternal family are from South Africa. Some of that family have left South Africa to go to Australia. I was thinking of them as I made this card.

I coloured this koala using watercolour pencils and a blender pen. This makes for super quick and easy colouring.

I was so glad this stamp set didn’t retire this year. I love all the big bold sentiments. They are my cup of tea. This is a very simple card but I’ve added interest with the doily. These are the Heart & Home doilies. They actually come in blue, green & brown. I wanted white though so I used the backside instead!!

I’m back with another Friday Focus post. In May we have been looking at using colour in our cards. Today I am using all the colours in the rainbow here. I love making rainbow cards. They are vibrant, bold and such fun. These cute little dragonflies really pop.

I couldn’t resist doodling a little with a white gel pen to add highlights to the dragonflies. The rhinestones are the perfect finishing touch.

This is a Focus Friday post. This May I have been focusing on the topic of “Colour”. This week I am looking at just using one colour to spotlight a focal image on the card. This card uses only the colour red. White and black aren’t strickly colours on the colour wheel. I’ve used the red to spotlight the poppies and really make them pop on this card.
