The trick to this technique is to use a very light hand when inking over your embossed image. You just need to glide your blending brush over the embossed image with no pressure at all. This way it will pick up the raised embossing only.

I’ve kept this card very tonal. The silver spring charm is quite chunky so make sure it is securely attached using glue dots or wet glue.

  • Thick Basic White Cardstock – A6 Card Base – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half
  • Regency Park Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 14.35cm X 10cm
  • Basic White Cardstock – 13.85cm X 9.5cm

I love the clean and simple look of this card. It’s super easy and quick to make. The basic white piece of card is embossed using the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder to give a little added interest in the background. The picture above uses Cajun Craze as the main colour where as the one below is Blackberry Bliss and Rich Razzleberry. Which do you prefer?
