How to Construct a Gift Bag with Magnetic Closure – Best Year – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

How cute are these? I struggled with the design for a cute little box for ages and then made this design my mistake and decided to stick with it. The pretty paper is from the Sweet Symmetry suite and gives this project a lovely summer vibe. I did two colour ways, Just Jude and Calypso Coral. Which do you like best? Isn’t this a pretty bag to place a special treat in. I love making gift bags and boxes and have a whole stack of them. Ever since I was a child I’ve always loved pretty packaging and taking time to make a gift look extra special. It makes all the difference I think to show you took the time to care.

Make A Big Gift Box – 6″ X 6″

Make A Big Gift Box – 6″ X 6″ – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This is a really good size box that would be useful not only as a gift box but also as a storage box. The paper is gorgeous isn’t? It is the Flower & Field designer series paper which is a freebie I got during Sale-a-bration. There is very little wastage with this box as the belly band is made using the left over cardstock from making the base.

This gorgeous designer series paper is called Field of Flowers. It is one of the fabulous free items you can earn in sale-a-bration. During sale-a-bration you can chose a free item from the sale-a-bration catalogue for every £45.00 you spend. This paper is bright, bold and happy which is everything I love. I’ve coupled with the great Happiest of Birthdays stamp set for a simple and easy card.

Strips – Using Your Scraps – Stampin’ Up!

I love being able to use up my scraps. This card uses strips of patterned paper cut at wonky angles to create this great card. A great sentiment is all you need to finish off this card.

This paper is the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper (DSP). It is so pretty and I really enjoying using it time and time again. I’ve started to plan my mini album with this DSP to hold all my summer flower pictures from our own garden and all the surrounding villages.

I’ve long made cards using scraps but my upline Amanda Fowler showed me this technique using wonky cut pieces of paper and leaving gaps between each strip. It is quiet effective don’t you think?

I love driving around in the summer and seeing all the pretty gardens. The village of Nettleham, about 10 minutes from us is especially pretty. The local garden nursery sponsors hanging baskets outside various establishments and they always look amazing.

Sunflowers Bag – Small Gift Bag – Stampin’ Up!

Yes I have more sunflowers to share with you. This is a sunflowers bag. The bag is very easy to make and show cases the lovely Flowers For All Seasons designer series paper.

This is a simple box to make. It follows the 2,4,6 & 8 rule. Each side is the same and only uses one sheet of 6″ X 6″ DSP to decorate it. The background colour is cinnamon cider which is one of the new in colours. It matches the centres of the sunflower so well.

This little bag is perfect for a small gift for a special friend. You could put in their favourite mascara or lipstick. It makes the gift even more special.

Just a Note – Butterly Gala – Stampin’ Up!

This is a simple card when you just what to send just a note to someone. I love how these bright butterflies look on the woodgrain background. I’ve stamped on coloured cardstock which is in itself unusual for me but I like the effect.

This card features two in-colours, Magenta Madness and Just Jade. I’ve used rhinestones to give the butterflies some sparkly bodies. I’ve done a previous card using these butterflies to make a rainbow effect. They stamp beautifully and of course, they have a coordinating punch.

The In Good Taste DSP is a lovely neutral collection of patterns. They are are perfect for male cards. You can stamp on them and they are make great backgrounds for all types of cards.
