Stencil Technique – How to Colour With Them – Loveliest Layers Masks – Biggest Wish – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – UK

The Loveliest layers masks include a set of stencils that allow you to colour a flower image and leaves. The masks make it very easy to add shading and detail.

I felt there was too much white space on the image so I used a very light colour blended over the whole panel, both white space and image. I used a text stamp to add extra detail in the background. This has been made in two different colours, pink and yellow. Which do you like best?

I was thinking of RAKs when I made this card. When I first got into crafting I had no idea what a RAK was. Then I found out it means “Random Act of Kindness”. So sweet!! I have some goodies this year for a few RAKs and giveaways. Stay tuned to my blog and Facebook group for all the information.

The colouring on this card was super quick using the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. I love how easy they are to blend and they also give me great results.

Yes, they are meant to be carrots but turned upside down they make my rainbow of trees. I love rainbow cards such as this one. They are bright, fun and uplifting. The little brass brushed butterflies are the perfect embellishment for this card. They give a little shine and lots of texture.

My rainbow colours are:

  • Real Red
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • So Saffron
  • Garden Green
  • Pacific Point
  • Gorgeous Grape

Using Repeat Stamping to Make an Easy Card – New In-colours – Biggest Wish – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – Lincoln UK.

This card uses the new in-colours. I’ve used this hello stamp from the Biggest Wish stamp set to stamp repeatedly the sentiment in the new in-colours. It is so effective and makes a great bold, focal feature. Simple to make and easy to repeat.

Make a Card that is Bold, Bright & Easy

I love how this card turned out. The contrast between light, dark, bold and bright really works. The colours are Poppy Parade, Basic Black and Basic White and they all compliment each other perfectly. I was tempted to add more embellishments but I think it would distract rather enhance this card.

Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana are two of my favourite colours. They go so well together alongside Pool Party. I’ve kept this card in those tones and love the outcome.

I myself love to watch crafting videos on YouTube. Normally I would just add my sentiment to this background without much embellishment. I’m trying to move out of my comfort zone. I’ve used two punches, the spring and the bough punch to create these embellishments in coordinating colours.

I love this bright, bold and fun card. It is right up my alley. I cut two pieces of designer series paper to the same size and then cut them into triangles. Both pieces were cut at the same time so they were exactly the same size and cut in exactly the same place. The little Polished Pink gems on the sentiment look like little rivets to me holding it in place.

I made this cute card to send to a friend who just went into hospital now in April when I’m writing this. I will have this to her by the time this goes live and wanted to share it with you.

This is the Hand-Penned suite of products from Stampin’ Up! and it is new in the new annual catalogue. If you don’t have a copy of the catalogue and want one, then just click here to request one. This suite has a glorious stamp set, matching dies and of course pretty paper. I’ve used them all on this card. It is a two-step stamp set which the Stamparatus makes a doddle to use.

I love the new colour Pale Papaya. In South Africa where my mother’s family reside we call papaya, pawpaw so you will most probably hear me refer to it like that from now on.

The Beauty of Friendship suite is one of the gorgeous suite of products we could preorder. The paper has quite an autumnal feel to it but this piece of paper is this beautiful blue. I was inspired by the cherry blossom I’ve been seeing all over Lincoln when I made this card. This year the blossom hasn’t lasted as long as usual but there have still been some pretty trees.

A Little Lace – A Note to Say Hello – Card Tutorial – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

The stamp used here is a “A Little Lace”. It’s beautiful and I’ve used it a number of times in both cards and gift bags. It’s a great set to use to stamp your own patterned paper. You can make a bespoke design in just the colour and size you want.

The colours I used here are Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie. It keeps it very tone on tone and yet it is still vibrant and colourful. The elegant faceted gems just give it that touch of bling to lift the whole card.
