Candle / Tealight Storage Box

Cute candle storage box that holds four dinky little tealights. A perfect little gift for a party bag or table favour. This can also double as a place name by changing the sentiment.

I don’t know about you but I love candles and have a huge collection of all shapes and sizes. I don’t really like the ones with a strong scent as they cause my allergies to act up. Sneezing and lighted candles don’t really go well together.

I have made this box many times through the years with different card and paper and every time it turns out super cute.

Here are some other projects made using the Mosaic Mood DSP

Tool Box for “Take your Pick Tool”

Took Box I made using the Follow your Art suite from Stampin’ Up! This cute box holds the versatile Take your Pick tool. I love this tool as it is an easy pickup tool, stylus, pokey tool and now you can also get a die brush attachment. What more could you want from a crafting tool? I, therefore, had to make it a pretty box to live in.

Tool Box for the Take your Pick tool from Stampin’ Up!

I adore this box, it uses one of my favourite colours, Bermuda Bay and the fun Follow your Art designer series paper (DSP). It boasts a magnetic closure so you don’t have to worry about it opening and spilling the contents everywhere.

The box is made separately from the wrap around closure, therefore, making it a very simple and easy make. Previously, I was storing the Take your Pick tool in the original box it came and it such a nuisance to get it out and try and make it fit back in that I never used it. This box is so pretty and just sits on my desk, consequently, I’m using the tool much more instead of the 3 other tools I was using.

Measurements

  • Follow your Art DSP – 7 3/4 inches x 1 1/4 inches x 1
  • Follow your Art DSP – 7 3/4 inches x 3/4 inch x 4
  • Bermuda Bay – 8 inches x 5 inches, scored on the short side at 1, 2 1/2 , 3 1/2 inches
  • Bermuda Bay – 9 3/4 inches x 3 1/2 inches scored at 1 inch on all sides.

As always, I have made a video showing you exactly how to make this box. The supply list is below the link to the video.

Cute Gift Box – Magnolia Lane

Cute gift box which is perfect for a lovely birthday treat for someone special.

I have another lovely project to share with you today. Here is simple and easy gift box that is perfect for that special gift for someone important.

Cute Gift Box – Magnolia Lane, made using supplies from Stampin’ Up!

This box is quick and easy to make thanks to the wonderful coordinating products that Stampin’ Up! provides. The box is made from Mossy Meadow cardstock and the lovely Magnolia Lane designer series paper. The magnolias have already flowered sadly but this paper can keep them alive and is great for the gardener in the family. I think this box would have been perfect for my Granny with a lovely little soap in it.

In Lincoln we had some lovely pink and white magnolias that were out a few months ago. I do like the spring flowers as they herald the start of warmth and beauty.

Measurements

A Sweet Treat Tin

Hello,

We have been lucky in Lincoln, all the snow from the last few weeks missed us. We had a light dusting but nothing like last year. I am very pleased as was in no mood to be snowed in again. Life has been busy has usual. I’ve been busy sorting out my car. She is now serviced and road tax and insurance paid. I am so pleased with my insurance as I’ve managed to save about £500 on it compared to last year.

I have a cute project to share with you today. I find these little metal tins online and thought they would make a lovely treat tin. They are big enough to hold a good amount of skittles or smarties.

The gingham gala paper measures 5.5cm x 4cm. I do love this set of designer series paper (DSP) It is a lovely mixture of pastel colours and makes me think of spring and all it’s joys.

The ribbon was from Sale-a-bration but is sady sold out now. You could use a number of other ribbons from the annual catalogue or dye a whisper white ribbon with a reinker. Let me know if you what to know how and I will make a video.
