I have another attempt at a snowglobe shaker card to share with you today. I love the idea of a shaker card but don’t enjoy making them. The sequins get everywhere and more seem to stick to me than get in the shaker dome!!!
I’ve used the Still Scenes stamp set to stamp the wintery cottage scene. I have coloured it in with our watercolour pencils. I love colouring in and watercolouring is a very forgiving medium. The two polar bears are so cute and love the image of the mother kissing her little baby bear.
measurements
- Blueberry Bushel A6 Cardbase – This is an A4 sheet cut in a half and then folded in half
- Balmy Blue – 14.35cm x 10cm
- Blueberry Bushel In Colour Designer Series Paper (DSP) 13.85cm x 9.5cm
- Balmy Blue – 1.5cm x 9.5cm
I felt the background was a bit bland and therefore have lifted using the same snowflake sequins that are in the shaker dome. I adhered them with a tiny dot of Tombow. The “Take Your Pick Tool” makes placement super easy without getting your fingers stuck in the glue.
