I love a shaker card, or, as I call them, shakey, shakey cards. They are such fun. I have a huge collection of sequins, and this year, I want to continue to use them. Do you have anything in your stash that you are trying to use?

The secret to easy shaker cards is good-quality foam strips. Remove the backing, and you will find them easy to manipulate. You can fill up your shakers as much as you want. If you want them to shake nicely, don’t overfill them.

I love to colour. It is my therapy. You can’t rush it, it calms me down and helps me to relax. I put on an audiobook and go into my own world. Do you enjoy colouring?

The images in this stamp set are perfect for colouring. I love the artwork in the Citrus Bloom set. They are ideal for colouring. I’ve coloured this card using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. This set would work with watercolours as well. It is something I will have to try.

When I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to have it. It reminds me of the tiles in Islamic art. I love the simplicity of the set and at the same time, all the detail. I’ve only used one stamp to create this lovely border. The image above uses Blueberry Bushel and below Melon Mambo. Which do you like best?

Below is a second card I made but this time using a dog image. Perfect whether you are a cat or dog lover. Which do you prefer? Let me know in the comments below.

I am a fan of big bold sentiments such as this one in the Thank You stamp set. The emboss resist technique is a fabulous one and I would encourage you to have a play with it. I’ve clear heat embossed on white cardstock and ink blended over the top to create this card. A couple of floral pieces from the Fully Flowering ephemera pack finish off the card.
