The cherry cobbler ribbon on this box really makes it special. You won’t believe how long I fiddled and fiddled with that box to try and make it look half decent. Bows are really not my forte. The paper is beautiful wintery Painted Chistmas. I love this design. Its wintery but not necessarily Christmas which makes it so versatile.

The basis of this card is just really ink, paper and stamps. Easy to make and easy to reproduce. The pine cones are from the Christmas Season stamp set. I love these pine cones. They are part of a two-step stamping set but I just used the one layer here and I think they look amazing. All the background images are from this set and I just stamped in any way that took my fancy to create this background.

Using Harvest Meadow DSP to Make a Box Bag – Dressed to Impress – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This is a bag but it has a rectangular base like a box. As the patterned paper is wrapped around the base there are no corners but rather these lovely curves instead. I’ve made this bag before earlier this year and wanted to try it again for Autumn with this Harvest Meadow designer series paper (DSP).

Delicate Dahlias – How to Make Stamping Easy – Stamparatus – Two-step Stamping – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

Dahlias are beautiful flowers. I love going to our local nursery and seeing the sea of blooms. It’s so difficult to resist buying them all!! My favourite are the Waterfly style ones as opposed to the PomPom and Cactus styles. The bees also prefer the more open flowers as it’s easier to reach the pollen.

The background seemed too plain to me so I embossed it with the Bloom 3D embossing folder to give it some added interest. It works well without taking anything away from the focal image.

So, I will be honest. When I saw this stamp set and matching dies in the Sale-a-bration catalogue I wasn’t sold on the idea. I was lucky enough to have a pre-order big enough that I’d earned a few free items.  I decided to get them and gave them a whirl. This is what I came up with. It’s cute!!

I inked the background using a blending brush. The moon was masked using masking paper though you could also use a post-it note to do the job as well. I love the contrast between the moon, the sheep and the dark sky. So I think you will agree the sheep stamp set and matching dies were a good choice. Show me what you are making with this set.

I love to watercolour. It is so soothing. The effect is gorgeous as well. The watercolour pencils are a great way to start as they give you control. Watercolour painting is very forgiving so why not give it a try?

I’ve used shimmery white cardstock here. You could use Fluid 100 watercolour paper but don’t use basic white as the paper is not strong enough to cope with all the water. Right paper for the job and you are halfway there already.

Oh my gosh, I’m elated with how this card turned out. This is the Delicate Dahlias stamp set and oh my I love it. This pink is Magenta Madness. I was watching Gardeners World yesterday and they featured a dahlia, similar in colour. I love dahlias with their big, bold and bright blooms. They sing and dance and are not shy about it. This would be a perfect birthday card for me. I hope you like it too.

Did you feed the squirrels when you were a child? I did. Initially, I’m told I was scared but then I overcame my fear and did it. I haven’t forgotten their soft little mouths on hand as they snaffled a treat. Sometimes there was a couple and you had to have each hand out so they didn’t fight for their treat. I still love watching them burying their nuts and flying through the trees. Here is cute pair that wishing you a Happy Birthday.

I love making thank you cards. We don’t send enough of them I feel. Such a little gesture can mean so much to someone. This one is very simple and has quite a few layers that pop from each other. The black and white designer series paper (DSP) is a freebie I got in Sale-a-bration. I love getting free paper but then what crafter wouldn’t?

I love, love, love how this came out. It is so cute!! I think my favourite critter on this paper is the sleeping fox. As some of you may know my team name is the “Crafty Foxes” so this really sang to me. This is made from two shopping list notebooks I got from a supermarket ages ago. So easy to make and a wonderful little gift to someone. It would be great to start jotting down any ideas you have for Christmas.
