The designer series paper (DSP) featured is Most Adored. One side of the paper has gold foiling and the other side features pretty designs in Real Red and Flirty Flamingo. The papers are soft and pretty. We made this card in my online card club this week. I host a monthly online craft club in my Facebook group each month. Yes, they are meant to be carrots but turned upside down they make my rainbow of trees. I love rainbow cards such as this one. They are bright, fun and uplifting. The little brass brushed butterflies are the perfect embellishment for this card. They give a little shine and lots of texture.

How to Make a Sweet Talk – Fold Flat Gift Box – Hydgrangea Haven – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Lincoln UK.

How cute is this little box? I’ve made it a few times and always love how easy it is to construct. This is my Valentine’s version using the Sweet Talk designer series paper (DSP) from the new catalogue. The trick to making sure everything folds together easily is to round the corners of the flaps on the bottom and top closures.

There is an easy reference template below alongside the video tutorial. Do check it out and then share your creations in my Facebook group.

I just love how good this bag looks. It has sturdy handles as they are made out of two layers of cardstock. The bag is really simple to make but it really looks lovely. A beautiful bag to house a special gift for someone that makes your heart leap.

The Sweet Talk paper is divine. Yes, it is aimed at Valentine’s Day but I do remember that love is not just for Valentine’s Day. You can give a gift to someone you love at any time of the year. You don’t need a special occasion.

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year. I took a break in blogging between Christmas and New Year but I’m back now. Here is my first project of the year and I hope you like it.

I love how the clean and simple looks of this card. There is lots of white space and that is nothing to be afraid of. The sentiment is nestled in the foliage with jewels and rhinestone giving it some extra bling.

The sentiment on this card is lovely. Any day is a beautiful day to love. Showing kindness and love in small ways is something we should try and do each day. The smallest act of love can make such a difference to someone else.

How cute are these? Oh my, if the snails in my garden were this cute I would invite them all to stay. One of these snails are fussy cut and one is cut with the dies, both from the designer series paper (DSP). I love the cute little toadstools. These are cut out of Real Red cardstock and then I added some white to give them this cute look.

The little heart between the two snails just as that lovely extra cute effect. The strip of Real Red is actually ribbon and gives these two snails somewhere to sit rather just floating around.

This is a beautiful but simple card, that is perfect for Valentine’s Day or a wedding anniversary. It is very easy to put together as I have used adhesive sheet on the back of the sentiment before I cut them out. The stamp set is Forever and Always. I love it as it has this big bold sentiment and matching dies. The dies will cut out the words love and always without the need for stamping as well. So versatile. The ribbon is the new Blackberry Bliss striped ribbon and it’s stunning.

A Waterfall of Hearts – Detailed Hearts Die

This card features of a waterfall of hearts. This is all one die that creates this marvelous hearts image.

I love the contrast between Real Red and Whisper White. It is so striking. The whisper white background is embossed with the Scripty embossing folder. It just adds a little interest to the card.

As I said the die that creates this image is the Detailed Hearts Die. I’ve used this die once before on a card. The first time I tried to stick the die cut with tombow glue and of course the glue ozzed everywhere and I was sticky and the card was sticky. Not a great success I am sure you would agree. The next time I used adhesive sheet and bingo!! It works!! No mess, no residual glue everywhere. Unfortunately Stampin’ Up! don’t sell adhesive sheet as yet but it coming in the new catalogue. Happy dance time for me.
