As you may know I’m not a fan of fancy fold cards. Having said that, I’m trying to push myself our of my comfort zone and do more. This turned out quite well I think. The card is kept closed using a magnet hidden behind the sentiment. Pink and red are not colours that people put together very often but if done well as here, it looks good.

How cute are these? Oh my, if the snails in my garden were this cute I would invite them all to stay. One of these snails are fussy cut and one is cut with the dies, both from the designer series paper (DSP). I love the cute little toadstools. These are cut out of Real Red cardstock and then I added some white to give them this cute look.

The little heart between the two snails just as that lovely extra cute effect. The strip of Real Red is actually ribbon and gives these two snails somewhere to sit rather just floating around.

measurments

  • Real Red A6 Cardbase – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half
  • Snail Mail – 14.35cm X 10cm

I love the Snail Mail suite of products from the mini catalogue. The images are fun and cute. The designer series paper (DSP) is bright and bold, very much my style.

I coloured in the smail mail and toadstools with the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. I used the colours in the DSP to guide my colouring. Do you still love to receive actual post as apposed to digital stuff. There is something special about receiving a card or letter through the post. Perhaps I’m old fashioned but I still love this personal touch.
