I love the bright and summery feel of this card. So pretty. The stamp set is Bottled Happiness and it’s a two step stamping set. I love how it allows you to build up this floral arrangement.

As part of Focus Friday I’ve done a whole set of different shaker cards. You can find them all here on YouTube.

I saw someone do this on Pinterest and knew I wanted to do one for myself. Once I’d figured out the measurements it was very easy to put together. I love the little pocket on the front. So cute!!

This was a project we made in a recent card club. I host a monthly card line online in my Facebook Group. We gather together virtually once a month to have lots of crafty fun.

This card has a cute pocket on the front of the card to hold a tag or gift card. It’s therefore practical and decoration all in one. The cardbase and designer series paper (DSP) are both freebies I got from the current Sale-a-bration. You can get them free with every purchase over £45.00. Click here to see the current catalogues.

Measurements

  • Soft Sea Foam Premade Cardbase – SAB Freebie

  • Evening Evergreen – 3 1/2″ X 3 1/2″ scored at 1/2″ on 3 sides

Welcome to this Focus Friday post. I wanted to play this week with the large background stamp, ” Knit Together”. I’ve only used it once before. It’s a great stamp set. I’ve stamped it twice and then cut it apart to make these strips.

Perfect Pomegranate is a free hostess set available only during Sale-a-bration. I am so happy I managed to get it this year. It’s beautiful. I wasn’t sure how to use it and decided to just stamp. This was the result. I stamped my own patterned paper. This bag started as a blank piece of Basic White Cardstock. It amazes me what you can create just with stamping.

I love how this card turned out. I used the Timeless Tile background stamp to give some tonal interest in the background. The background was too plain otherwise for my tastes. This is a Focus Friday card. This month we have been looking at using background and large stamps in our cardmaking.

This is a very clean and simple design. I love the Uniquely Artistic stamp set. It is a two-step stamping set. The stamp set is a photopolymer one so it is easy to line everything up. It’s summer!! For me, bright colours and flowers are a symbol of summer.

I love hydrangeas. My mother has a huge one in the garden when I was a kid and I just grew up with these gorgeous big blooms. We still have them in the garden now and I’m looking forward them to blooming this year.

The Hydrangea Haven stamp set is a two-step stamping set. This gives extra detail and depth to the image. You can of course colour the images in yourself if you so wish.

How to Use Ghost Stamping in Cardmaking – Stacked Stone – Daffodil DayDreams – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – UK

Hello, I’m back with another Focus Friday project to share with you. The focus in July is on large / background stamps. I’ve used the Stacked Stone stamp here to stamp the background in different areas. I haven’t used a block to stamp with so the stamping is imperfect and merges into the background in place. This gives an organic and distressed feel to the card.

Welcome to this Focus Friday post. For the month of July, we are looking at background stamps. These are large stamps that cover most if not all of the card front. They are usually repeating designs that add interest to a card without detracting from the focal image. They can also be large stamps that give you the focal image in one stamp.
