Make a Tri Fold Birthday Card with a Flap Opening – Around The Bend Dies – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – UK

I created this decorative flap using the Around the Bend Dies. I used the scallop border die to cut the cardbase itself. Then, I used this decorative border die with Basic White cardstock to create this lacy pattern. I love the effect.

The flowers are fussy cut from the Delightfully Eclectic designer series paper (DSP). I added some gold sequins to give the flower centres some sparkle.

I love the Perennial Postage dies. These could be used as individual frames but I wanted to design a card where I could use many of these in one card. This is what I came up with.

Calypso Coral Cardstock – A6 Card Base – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half

How to Make a Quilt-Style Birthday Card

How to Make a Quilt-Style Birthday Card – Go to Greetings – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

This quilt effect is very easy to achieve. I’ve continued the sewing theme with the embossing folder used in the background which is called Cable Weave. To achieve the quilt effect I cut up a square of paper into 2cm square pieces. I then cut these in half on the diagonal and arranged them on a piece of cardstock.

This looks like a complicated card but is actually very easy to make. This is a triple stepper card. I’ve used the Delightfully Electic Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is just one sheet of paper but I’ve used both sides. The green really pop against the green don’t you think?

Garden Green cardstock – half an A4 sheet cut in half on the short side at 10.5cm. Score on the longer side at 3cm, 6cm, 10, 14cm & 22cm
Delightfully Electic DSP:
- 10cm X 7.5cm
- 10cm X 3.5cm
- 2.5cm X 10cm
- 7.cm X 7.cm
- 6cm X 6cm
Garden Green Cardstock:

This is a pocket that holds a small notebook. Perfect to jot down notes, shopping lists etc… This pocket has a magnetic closure, though of course you could make a belly band closure or use a velcro dot.

This is a great size bag. The top folds over in the style of a clutch bag. We made this a recent card club that I host in North Lincoln. If you want to join us for the next club in September, you find all the details here. This bag has a velcro closure but equally, you could use a magnet closure.

Using Circle Sayings- Make a Card With Me – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK!

This is a very simple design that makes the most of the patterned paper. Both of the patterns on this card are just the reverse of the same piece of paper. I love that the paper has two sides as you it gives you more options to mix and match.

The stamp set is Circle Sayings and of course, it matches the new circle punch. Who doesn’t love a new punch? I certainly do and circle punches are my favourite!!

I’ve made this picnic hamper before but I wanted to make it again with new paper. I was watching the Chelsea Flower Show in May. I used to go every year when I lived in London and still love to see it on TV. One lovely part of Chelsea was sitting on the grass, having a picnic and listening to the big bands playing at the bandstand. This inspired me to make this little hamper.

Make this Flap Bag with a Velcro Fastening – Phrases for All – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Lincoln – UK

The bag above is Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock, and below is Old Olive and Calypso Coral. Which do you prefer? The first bag I made had a pointed flap as above but when I made the second one I forgot to make a point and did a normal flap. You can tell me which flap shape you like best.

The closure is velcro dots, you can easily use magnets of course. I like to change it up though and do things differently. It makes life a little more interesting.
