Paper Tags – Quick Layered Tag Card – Try it Now! – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK.

If you’re short on time but still want to create a beautiful handmade card, this quick layered tag card is just the project for you! Featuring the Paper Tags stamp and die set from Stampin’ Up!, this card design is simple yet striking—perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike.

I’ve created two bright and cheerful versions of this card to show how easy it is to change up the feel just by switching the colour palette. Both cards use the same layout but offer a different vibe, proving just how versatile the Paper Tags bundle can be.

Coastal Cabana & Melon Mambo – A Fresh and Fun Combo

For the first card, I used a soft Coastal Cabana background paired with the vibrant pop of Melon Mambo for the tag border. The stamped sentiment really stands out in green, and I added the tiny heart leftover from die-cutting the tag for a coordinated embellishment. The floral background was lightly inked to keep things soft and pretty, letting the layered tag take centre stage.

Calypso Coral & Lost Lagoon – Warm and Tropical

The second card features a warmer blend of Calypso Coral flowers layered over a Lost Lagoon base. I kept the layout the same but swapped the ink colours on the sentiment to match the theme. Again, I reused the heart from the die-cut as a little detail on the tag—no waste, and it ties everything together so nicely!

Finishing Touches

Both cards are finished with the stunning silver and white shimmer ribbon tied through the top of the tag. It adds just the right touch of elegance and sparkle. A few adhesive pearls scattered across the card front bring a little extra dimension and polish.

These cards come together in no time and are a great way to make use of your sentiment stamps and background florals. Whether you’re crafting a birthday card, a thank-you note, or just sending a little cheer, this layout will serve you well again and again.

Round We Go. Fun Two Step Stamping Card – Make it Now – Birthday Card – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK.

Looking for a bright and bold card idea? The Round We Go stamp set delivers eye-catching results using a simple two-step stamping technique. Today, I’m sharing two joyful birthday cards that show how versatile and playful this set can be—perfect for any celebration!

What is Two-Step Stamping?

Two-step stamping involves layering two or more stamps to build depth, detail, and dimension. In these cards, I’ve used bold circular bursts as the base image and layered a second coordinating stamp to complete the look. It’s an easy way to add texture and vibrance without needing complicated techniques.

Card One: Cool Tones with Coastal Vibes

This version features a fresh and cool colour palette: Pretty Peacock, Coastal Cabana, and Lost Lagoon. The combination creates a calm yet festive vibe, ideal for birthdays that call for something slightly more understated but still fun. A scattering of stamped stars and enamel dots finishes the background, adding that extra pop of cheer.

Sentiment Styling

Both cards feature sentiments from the same set: “HIP HIP HOORAY!” and “HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY”. These are matted on Gold Foil Sheet to help them pop and mounted with dimensionals to give them lift and interest on the card front. The font is crisp and modern—perfect for any age or gender.

Why You’ll Love This Card

This is one of those layouts that you can easily recreate in endless colour combinations. The design is great for batch-making birthday cards, and the two-step stamping technique ensures your cards look professional with very little effort.

Whether you’re new to stamping or looking for a quick project with stunning results, the Round We Go stamp set is a brilliant choice.

Florals in Bloom – How to Create a Split Front Card – With You In Mind – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – UK

Looking for a fresh way to use your floral patterned paper? This Split Front Card design is a brilliant way to show off those gorgeous prints while creating a card that’s eye-catching and elegant. I’ve used the Florals in Bloom Paper alongside the With You In Mind stamp set to make these beautiful cards.

What is a Split Front Card?

A Split Front Card features a front panel that’s cleanly divided into sections, revealing interesting angles and opportunities to layer and embellish. It adds a dynamic look to your card design without requiring complex folds. In this case, I’ve cut the patterned paper at angles and added foil sheet accents between the pieces to make the split stand out even more.

Florals, Foil & Colour

For the first card, I used Granny Apple Green cardstock as the base, paired with a lovely spring floral paper. The sentiment from the With You In Mind set is stamped in Strawberry Slush, coordinating beautifully with the floral tones.

The second card uses a Blackberry Bliss card base and a more purple-toned floral print from the same paper pack. The sentiment is stamped in a rich coordinating ink, giving it a bold finish that complements the base.

Both cards feature silver foil sheets between the cut layers. This not only helps define the split design but also adds a touch of shine and luxury that really makes the card pop. I also tucked some metallic ribbon loops behind the sentiment for extra texture and dimension.

Quick and Simple Elegant Card – Extraordinary Flora – Spotlight on Nature – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – UK

If you’re short on time but still want to make something stylish and heartfelt, this project might be just what you’re looking for. Today’s card showcases the Extraordinary Flora stamp, die, and washi tape set—an absolute dream for anyone who loves floral crafting without the fuss of colouring.

Washi Tape Magic

The stunning florals on this card are all from the coordinating Extraordinary Flora washi tape. I cut a section of the washi tape that aligns with the large matching die, adhered it to Basic White cardstock for extra stability, and then die cut it using the coordinating die. One pass through your die-cutting machine gives you a full bouquet of beautiful flowers and foliage, ready to arrange.

Elegant Details with Gold and Texture

To create a focal point, I used one of the gold decorative circles from the Spotlight on Nature die set. This adds just the right amount of shine and elevates the look of the card without overwhelming the florals.

The background is embossed using the Exposed Brick embossing folder, which adds subtle but interesting texture. It gives the card a grounded, tactile feel while still keeping it clean and sophisticated.

A Finishing Touch

The sentiment “All the Best” comes from the Saying Something ephemera pack, making it quick and easy to add a polished, professional greeting to your project. A few coordinating pearls finish the look perfectly and add a little extra shine.

This design is ideal for many occasions—whether you’re wishing someone luck, celebrating a milestone, or just sending a warm hello.

Little Red Tractor – Cute Birthday Card – Easy Tutorial – Tractor & Co – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK.

If you love farmyard charm and cheerful colours, today’s card is bound to make you smile! This adorable birthday card features the Tractor and Co stamp and die set—such a fun and playful set to work with. Whether you’re crafting for kids, country lovers, or just want to brighten someone’s day, this design is a real standout.

Farmyard Fun on a Card!

The star of the show is, of course, the little red tractor. I’ve paired it with a matching trailer stacked high with golden hay and rows of sweetcorn, all stamped and die-cut for added dimension. The little chicken perched on top adds a touch of whimsy that really pulls the whole scene together. I love how the layering gives the card depth and movement—it almost looks like it’s ready to roll off the page!

The background is softly ink-blended to create a soft grassy field fading into the sky, which helps all the elements pop while keeping the design light and fresh.

Greetings That Say It All

The sentiment comes from the Greetings for All ephemera pack. I love the bold, crisp finish it gives to the design—it’s the perfect finishing touch for a fun birthday card like this one.

Make It Your Own

While I went with a red tractor for this version, I’ve also created a second card using a green tractor—and it’s just as delightful! You can easily personalise your card with different colour combinations, seasonal elements, or even add a custom name or age to make it extra special.

Sunshine Vibes. Time to Make a Shaker Card. – Layered Thoughts – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – Lincoln UK

Sunshine Vibes. Time to Make a Shaker Card. – Layered Thoughts – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – Lincoln UK

Looking for a bright, tactile twist on a classic birthday greeting? Today’s project is all about capturing that joyful Sunshine Vibes energy in a rainbow shaker card that jingles with every shake and shimmer.

Sunshine Vibes. Time to Make a Shaker Card.
Sunshine Vibes. Time to Make a Shaker Card.

The Inspiration Behind the Design

I wanted a card that felt like summer in an envelope—sunshine yellow, floral whimsy and a playful interactive element. The new Layered Thoughts stamp set delivers bold, sketch‑style sentiments that pair perfectly with a rainbow of sequins. By teaming it with Floral Delight Designer Series Paper and the Sunshine Vibes dies, I could spotlight both colour and movement in one simple layout.

Product Snapshot & Colour Palette

  • Stamp Set: Layered Thoughts
  • Dies: Sunshine Vibes (for that fabulous arched rainbow)
  • Card Base: Old Olive – a fresh, grounding green
  • Ink: Daffodil Delight – pure sunshine in a pad
  • DSP: Floral Delight – soft blooms and a subtle linen texture
  • Window Sheet: Stampin’ Up!’s acetate for shaker cards
  • Shaker Mix: Sequins from my crafty stash

These shades work together to keep the design cohesive while letting the interactive rainbow steal the show.

Building the Rainbow Shaker Element

  1. Die‑Cut the Arches – Centre the Sunshine Vibes rainbow on Floral Delight DSP and run it through your die‑cutting machine. Keep the negative panel for the card front and save the arches for another project.
  2. Create the Window – Adhere a Window Sheet behind the die‑cut panel so the entire rainbow aperture is covered and ready to corral the shaker pieces.
  3. Add Dimension – Line the back of the panel with foam adhesive strips, following the rainbow curve to seal the arch. This ensures the sequins stay in place when shaken. If you take the backing off the foam adhesive strips first, they are much easier to manipulate.
  4. Fill the Wells – Drop your sequin mixes into the arch cavity. Use just enough to move freely without overcrowding.
  5. Seal the Shaker – Place a layer of Basic White cardstock over the foam adhesive to trap the shaker mix, then flip to admire your new rainbow confetti window.

Stamping Crisp Sentiments with Layered Thoughts

To keep the greeting bold and legible against the lively background, stamp “Happy Birthday” from Layered Thoughts in Daffodil Delight onto Basic White. For extra pop, double‑stamp (using a Stamparatus or stamp platform) to deepen the colour and mimic the textured sketch lines of the font.

Assembly & Finishing Touches

  • Mat the shaker panel onto an Old Olive card base for a slim border that frames the florals.
  • Scatter a few spare sequins on the card front to echo the movement inside the shaker and draw the eye across the design.

Below is another version of this card using the Boho Vibes paper. Which version do you prefer?

Best Wishes – Happy Hibiscus – Easy Watercolouring

Best Wishes – Happy Hibiscus – Easy Watercolouring – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

Best Wishes – Happy Hibiscus – Easy Watercolouring – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

Today’s card is all about layering, colour, and the beauty of a hand‑painted floral. I’ve used the Happy Hibiscus stamp and die set to create these bold blooms, and paired them with a soft sky background and subtle arch framing. If you love floral cards but want an approachable technique for colouring, this is the perfect project to try.

Best Wishes - Happy Hibiscus - Easy Watercolouring - Crafting with Ashee - Independent Stampin' Up! Demo - Lincoln UK
Best Wishes – Happy Hibiscus – Easy Watercolouring – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

What makes this card stand out

  • Easy watercolouring – Real Red and Old Olive ink pads, plus a Water Painter, create vibrant results without complicated blending.
  • Layered arch effect – The Everyday Arches dies and clever use of DSP add depth and detail.
  • Stunning statement florals – The hibiscus flowers pop against a dreamy sky backdrop.
  • Versatile sentiment – “Best Wishes” from With You in Mind fits a wide range of occasions.

How I created the hibiscus flowers

  1. Stamping and watercolouring
I stamped the hibiscus and leaves onto Fluid 100 watercolour paper using waterproof black ink. Once dry, I used my Water Painters to loosely fill in the flowers with Real Red and the leaves with Old Olive.
  2. Adding bold detail
Instead of flicking or splattering, I added extra depth by painting directly onto the petals and leaves with undiluted ink. This gives a vivid, hand‑painted look and makes the florals really pop.
  3. Die cutting
Once the colouring was dry, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images for layering later.

Creating the layered arch background

  • Ink blending – I began by blending Pool Party ink over a piece of Basic White cardstock to create a soft, gradient base.
  • DSP overlay – Next, I took a piece of Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper and used the Everyday Arches dies to cut a window into it.
  • Layering the two – I placed the ink‑blended piece behind the DSP so that the sky scene showed only through the arch cut‑out. This added both dimension and a subtle focal frame for the sentiment.

Sentiment and finishing touches

  • The “Best Wishes” greeting comes from the With You in Mind stamp set and was stamped in black for a bold contrast against the soft background.
  • I arranged the three hibiscus flowers and leaves around the base of the arch to draw the eye upward and keep the design balanced.
  • A few pearls from the Pearl Trio Pack add a soft shimmer and complete the card with a delicate touch.

Simple Floral Sympathy Card – Easy Make

If you’re looking for a thoughtful, handmade card that’s quick to put together yet elegant, this Simple Floral Sympathy Card is the perfect project. It features the beautiful “With You In Mind” stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and the gorgeous “Pretty Florals” dies for a clean, heartfelt look.

This card showcases some of the stunning 2025–2027 In Colours, including the soft and serene Secret Sea and Cloud Cover, beautifully balanced with the vibrant Strawberry Slush and gentle Pretty in Pink. I really enjoyed combining these shades to create something that feels comforting, delicate, and hopeful.

The sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea, tying it in perfectly with the background and giving the card a cohesive, soft finish. The bold floral elements bring in a pop of colour, adding warmth and personality to the design without overpowering the message.

The colours

For this project, I’ve featured some of the fabulous new 2025 In Colours. Card number 1 uses Timid Tiger and Secret Sea, while card number 2 replaces Timid Tiger with the yummy Strawberry Slush. Timid Tiger brings a bold pop of vibrant orange that’s perfect for birthdays and celebrations, and Strawberry Slush is the perfect summer pink. Secret Sea adds a soft contrast in cool, calming tones.

The pleated panel in the centre is a real showstopper! It creates depth and movement on the card front, drawing the eye to the focal point—the birthday sentiment. I love how the folds show off both the pattern and colour of the designer series paper in a completely new way.

To tie it all together, I added two sweet floral embellishments, which were fussy cut from the coordinating patterned paper. This is a great way to use up scraps and gives your card that extra handcrafted charm. The layered flowers are finished off with a touch of bling in the centre for a subtle sparkle.
