Whether you’re sending off a student, congratulating a friend on a new job abroad, or just wanting to share some travel-themed joy, this quick and cheerful card is sure to do the trick! I created this design to be bright and fun, perfect for celebrating adventures ahead.

Bold Colours and Playful Patterns

The card base combines Summer Splash and Strawberry Slush cardstock—an eye-catching pairing that instantly feels upbeat and energising. I layered them with panels of the “On the Go” Designer Series Paper, which adds a whimsical travel vibe with its location-pin heart motif.

To keep the layout fresh and modern, I divided the DSP into four panels and adhered them with even spacing. This not only adds structure to the card but also allows other elements to stand out beautifully.

Travel Elements with a Handmade Touch

The focal image—a stacked suitcase, water bottle, and passport—was fussy cut from coordinating DSP and popped up with foam dots for extra dimension. These little accents bring the card to life and echo the travel theme perfectly.

A simple wrap of Shy Shamrock baker’s twine and a few scattered gems add the perfect finishing touches without overwhelming the design.
