I made two versions: one using the delicate, botanical Flowering Meadow paper (above) and the other bursting with colour from the vibrant Lovely as a Garden paper (below). You can see both in the pictures — aren’t they just the cutest?

These little folios are ideal for slipping into your bag, gifting to a friend, or even using as a mini card wallet or notebook holder. I love how each fold reveals something a little special!

Why You’ll Love This Dinky Tri Part Folio

  • Small but Mighty: It may be dinky, but it’s packed with charm and functionality.
  • Perfect for Gifts: we can always use a small notebook to jot done ideas.
  • Great Way to Use Pretty Paper: Let those stunning designs shine front and centre.
  • Beginner Friendly: A simple fold-and-stick project with maximum wow factor!

Both designs feature a simple “Just a Note” sentiment on the front, layered on coordinating cardstock circles, and a touch of sparkle with a rhinestone accent. I kept the decoration minimal to let those gorgeous papers do the talking!

Measurements

  • Fresh Freesia / Balmy Blue Cardstock—21cm X 11cm—Scored at 7cm, 7.5cm, 15cm, and 15.5cm on the 21cm side.

Tips for Making Your Own Tri Part Folio

  • Choose patterned papers that make you smile — the front cover is the star!
  • Use coordinating cardstock for a polished, professional look.
  • Stick with strong adhesives to keep the folds and layers nice and secure.
  • Add embellishments sparingly —This is going to go in people’s bags so you don’t want embellishments to be knocked off.

In the video tutorial linked below, I show you step-by-step how to create this Tri Part Folio from scratch. You’ll be amazed how quickly it comes together!

Here’s a little peek inside:

  • The folio opens out in three sections.
  • You can easily create a tuck spot in the flap to keep notes or tickets.
