I have this very simple card to share with you today featuring this “Happy Birthday Balloon”. This card has been stamped using markers rather than ink pads. This is a great technique and I am so excited to share it with you.
This is such a fun stamp. The whole balloon including sentiment is one stamp. I’ve used the 2020-2022 in-colour Stampin’ Write Markers. There are five colours in the pack:
- Misty Moonlight – Blue
- Magenta Madness – Pink
- Just Jade – Green
- Bumblebee – Yellow
- Cinnamon Cider – Brown
This gives you a great range of colours at a much lower price point than the stamp pads. Stamping with markers also gives you so much control over where you apply the colour. You can even have different colour flowers instead of them all being the same as I’ve done.
measurements
- Misty Moonlight A6 Cardbase – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half
- Whisper White – 14.35 x 10cm
I should say the stamp set used here is “Hooray To You”. I am going to be using it over and over again. It would look great heat embossed as well.
