Blending Brushes – How to get a Lovely Blend – Corner Bouquet Stamp Set – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I was so excited when I saw blending brushes in the new catalogue. They work a treat to blend inks. As you may know I love playing with colours and inks. I’ve always struggled to get a good blend with a sponge but with these blending brushes it was as easy as pie.

You don’t need a separate brush for each colour. I have one for each colour family, for example, one for blues, one for yellows / oranges etc…. I just store them in a cute penguin mug on my desk. Brilliant!!

How to add extra detail to a stamped Image. Enjoy The Moment Stamp set, Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I have this gorgeous card to share with you today using very natural and neutral colours. The stamp set is Enjoy the Moment. This was a free set I got in my convention bag last November. Onstage was a virtual event from the comfort of our own homes but still loads of fun. This card is based on one demonstrated to us.

I have stamped using Crumb Cake ink and then added shadows and extra detail using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend Alcohol markers over the top. I’ve also the blue surround to give depth to the image.

This bag uses the Field of Flowers designer series paper (DSP) which is a freebie you can earn in Sale-a-bration. You can make two of these bags from one sheet of 12″ X 12″ paper which is great. It holds a lovely packet of chocolates for a sweet treat for someone special.

Cottage Garden Scene Card for a Special Friend

Cottage Garden Scene Card for a Special Friend – Grace’s Garden – Garden Gateway Dies – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

Terracotta Tile is one of the in-colours that will be retiring this year. I have stock of cardstock and I want to use it up before it retires. It looks really good here with the white which makes it pop. The stamp set is Grace’s Garden and I’ve coloured it in using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. This scene reminds me of the gardens in some of the villages around here. They are beautiful and so tranquil.

I love making these cards with big, bold sentiments. They pop and make a real statement. The stamp set I used is “Ornate Thanks”. I used the heck out of this set. It’s one of my favourites. The designer series paper (DSP) is the “Oh So Ombre” pack. It is one of the items you can get free during Sale-a-bration and it’s Bermuda Bay!! A favourite colour of mine. What could be better.

Simple Rococo Rose Magnetic Closure Gift Box – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This is a lovely rectangle gift box that has a magnetic closure. It would be perfect to hold a piece of jewellery. Rococo Rose is one of the in-colours that is retiring later this year. I have quite a bit of cardstock and patterned paper in this colour and want to start to use it up, hence this box.

The two colours here are Rocco Rose and Merry Merlot and I they they go fabulously together. It is a new combination for me and one I definitely love. This dragonfly is from a new stamp set called “Dragonfly Garden”. It also comes with a matching punch. The designer series paper (DSP), the stamp set and punch were part of a bundle of products we could order ahead of Onstage at Home. Onstage at Home was our virtual convention that happened through the magic of computers. We used these items for the make and takes and I have been waiting for ages to share it with you.

Friends Make the World Go Round – Beautiful World – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK

I love all the brass foiling in the World of Good designer series paper. It is so shiny and the photos don’t do it justice at all. The sentiment on the card is beautiful, kind and good people do make the world a good place.

This card is my style in that it is paper and a big bold sentiment. I do love Stampin’ Up! for many things but I’ve stayed because of the friends I’ve met that make my world a better place to live in. The sentiments in the stamp sets are lovely and express these feelings in a wonderful way.

Feeling Blue! Make a Thank You Card & Smile – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I’ve always loved the combination of pink and blue. I remember having two My Little Ponies, one was pink and one was blue and I always though they were perfect friends. Plaid Tidings is the paper here. I am using it all the time and why not when it it is so gorgeous. The pink in the paper is Melon Mambo and I’ve picked this up again with the mat around the sentiment.

I hope you are all keeping safe in the current conditions. As always I find that crafting is my saviour as it gives both my mind hands busy and when you are busy you can’t think. Not thinking is a bonus some days. Anyway enough of that and back to crafting.
