I love this fun Christmas card featuring the Filled with Cheer online exclusive stamp set. This snowman is so happy, even if he is melting. Such a cute image, don’t you agree? I’ve coloured this image using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. I do love how easy they make colouring. Have you tried them?

This card features a number of techniques including ink blending, use of embossing paste and colouring with layering stencils. I’ve limited the colour palette to green and blue. This keeps the card calm. The Frosted Forest stencils, stamps and die are easy to use and make beautiful cards. Do have a go.

I know other people call this technique the slice and shuffle but for me it is cut and shuffle. You need 3 different pattern papers that complement each other and have the same measurements. In the video below I show you how to cut the paper and shuffle it to create potentially 3 different cards.

Many times we forget that we can clear heat emboss with any of the 50 colours of Stampin’ Up! ink. You don’t need to have tons of different powders, just one will do the trick. The stamp set is More Wishes, a firm favourite of mine. I’ve used Cherry Cobbler ink above and Misty Moonlight below. Which looks best to you?

This card was one we made in a recent card club. I love the bold font and vibrant colours. It features the Choose Happy stamp set. I love his set. It is full of sentiments and lots of little images to use on cards or even in your planner. The version below is much more tonal using Balmy Blue and Moody Mauve. Which do you like better?

I am in love with layering stencils. They make gorgeous cards and are great for those who don’t like colouring. There are 3 stencils for each of the 3 trees in the stamp set. These allow you to colour the trees for Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter. The choice is yours.

I’ve been watering the plants every few days in the garden. It is so peaceful, watching the wildlife go about their business. I love watching the butterflies flittering from flower to flower. So beautiful. This was the inspiration for this simple care. Above is a blue version of this card and below is an orange and yellow version. Which do you prefer?

I love it when Stampin’ Up! makes dies that can be used with the matching stamp set or entirely on their own. It increases the versatility of the set and as the saying it gives you more bang for your buck.

This is a card I designed for my cards my post club. I can’t include stamped images in my kits as per Stampin’ Up! policy so I focus on pretty papers and die cuts. This card fits the bill on both counts, wouldn’t you agree?
