Easy Two-Step Stamping – Pretty Floral Card – Colour & Contour – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln

I love all the pretty purples in this card. The Colour & Contour stamp set has a sketchy feel to it. This is great as you don’t have to be perfect lining up your two-step stamping. It will always look great. My favourite stamp in this is the splatter stamp. It just adds something extra to the background, almost like pollen floating through the air.

Making a Star Shaped Shaker Card – Easy Tutorial – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! based in Lincoln UK.

This shaker card came together really easily. I was watching a haul video on YouTube and saw the lady had purchased some star and heart-shaped shaker pockets online. So I thought to myself, why don’t I make a star-shaped shaker card and here it is.

I used children’s fun foam at the pack to give it the necessary dimension. It also prevents any of the Subtle Shimmer Sequins in the shaker element from sticking to any adhesive.

Send a Card to Your Friend – Heartfelt Card – Love – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Based in Lincoln UK. Heartfelt Stamp set and matching heart punch.

The two colours here are Rocco Rose and Merry Merlot and I they they go fabulously together. It is a new combination for me and one I definitely love. In these uncertain times, friends are so important so I think it would be so lovely to take the time to send out a few cards to them to let them know they are loved.

How to Make it Shake!! Christmas Shaker Card. Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I love shaker cards but sometimes struggle with making them. This one turned out really well I think. The sequins around the card pic up on the sequins in the shaker card and give it a lovely cohesive effect. I embossed the Balmy Blue layer with the Woodlands embossing folder which matches the woodland feel of the stamped image.

When I was a child, I love Snow Globes. They weren’t as widely available as they are now and were so special. I love just loved watching all the glittery snow falling down on the scene. I still have a few that I have collected over the years that I put out for Christmas. This year I want to try and make one for myself. Watch this space!!

Happy Belated Birthday Card – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK

This is a super easy card to make when you have forgotten someone’s birthday and you need a card in a hurry. The stamp set is “Happiest of Birthdays” and I love it for it’s big bold sentiments.

I’m not normally a green girl but I love his Granny Apple Green pattern here in the Artistry Blooms designer series paper (DSP). The sequins are from the came collection and just give that added bling to the card.

Snowglobe Shaker Card – Still Scenes – Stampin’ Up!

I have another attempt at a snowglobe shaker card to share with you today. I love the idea of a shaker card but don’t enjoy making them. The sequins get everywhere and more seem to stick to me than get in the shaker dome!!!

I’ve used the Still Scenes stamp set to stamp the wintery cottage scene. I have coloured it in with our watercolour pencils. I love colouring in and watercolouring is a very forgiving medium. The two polar bears are so cute and love the image of the mother kissing her little baby bear.

I felt the background was a bit bland and therefore have lifted using the same snowflake sequins that are in the shaker dome. I adhered them with a tiny dot of Tombow. The “Take Your Pick Tool” makes placement super easy without getting your fingers stuck in the glue.

Shakey, Shakey – Feels Like Frost Shaker Card

I have a shaker card to share with you today or as I call them a shakey, shakey card. Shaker Cards are fun and interactive and I love to make them. These are super easy to make with the snow globe domes from Stampin’ Up!

I have used the Feels Like Frost designer series paper (DSP) here. It is a gorgeous paper collection. It has lovely wintery images on the one side with shimmery metallic silver foiling on the other side.

Instead of stamping behind the shaker dome I have used the cutout section of the DSP to make one seamless image. I haven’t used too many sequins so that this image is still visible.

I love shakey, shakey cards. These domes allow you to make a shaker card or create a proper snow globe. I plan to make more of these as Christmas approaches.
