I love the Pansy Patch stamp set. I’ve not used it for a while but I think it deserves to be used again. This design is very simple with a single flower as the focal image. Pansy Patch is a two-step stamp set. This gives the flower detail and dimension. I made this card in two different colour ways. Which do you prefer?

How to Make a Deep Rectangle Box – Pizza Box Style!! – Pansy Patch – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

This cute little box opens just like a pizza box. It is super easy to make and a great size. The one above is made using Misty Moonlight cardstock and the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper (DSP).

I’ve made another in Basic Black using the Zoo Crew DSP. I love the contrast between the black card and the white paper. So Striking! Which colour way do you like best?

The belly band is really slim as used only one sheet of cardstock to make the box and embellishments.

This is a great size bag. The top folds over in the style of a clutch bag. We made this a recent card club that I host in North Lincoln. If you want to join us for the next club in September, you find all the details here. This bag has a velcro closure but equally, you could use a magnet closure.

I’d forgotten how much I love this die and matching stamp set. They are gorgeous. I love the floral stamp and die sets, never tire of them. This is a card we made in a recent card club and I thought I would share it with you.

I have a few tips to share when putting together these flowers. The first is to layer up your pieces before you add glue so you know exactly where they go. Second, is use a silicon mat to stop the glue from going everywhere and thirdly I used my take-your-pick tool to layer the tiny centre of the pansy.

This is a very simple but cute make. It would be lovely to put on a friend’s desk in the morning to brighten their day. You could make the same style of envelope and place an after eight in the for a table favour. I’ve made this in two colour ways. The above one is Blueberry Bushel and below is Berry Burst. They are both returning in-colours they are now part of our main colour families. Which do you like best?

When I saw these little candles in the shop, I knew I wanted to make a cute little box to gift them in. This is what I came up with. It is very easy to make. I’ve used the new Fresh as a Daisy designer series paper to decorate this box. Do you like to make boxes and bags? I would love to see your creations. Welcome to this Focus Friday post. For the month of April, we are looking at all things shaker cards. So are you ready to shake with me? Today we are looking at a full card shaker card. This is a great card to make as it “recycles” any pieces of plastic acetate packaging you have.

I love this card as you can see all the pretty paper in the background. I haven’t added too many shaker elements as this card has no dimension and you don’t want to hide the beautiful paper.

Pansy Patch – 14.35cm X 10cm
Strip of Basic White that is 2.5cm wide
Piece of acetate packaging that measures at least 16cm X 11cm – I used an old C6 size clear envelope

I absolutely adore this Pansy Petals paper. It is so pretty. As you know I’m a sucker for anything floral and so this is a match made in heaven. I’ve used this paper a number of times and wanted to give one more outing this week before it retires at the end of this month.

I’ve always loved playing with ink and paint and enjoy mixed media art. This is my version of a mixed media card, Stampin’ Up! style. I find mixed media art so freeing as there is no mistakes, just more chances to be creative. There is right or wrong way, just what makes you happy and looks go to you. All crafting would make you happy but mixed media makes me especially happy.

I love these big sentiment stamps. This one is from Happiest of Birthdays. They make for easy and simple cards. I’ve used this one a few times and stepped it up with heat embossing. I will link some of the projects below.

The lilac colour is one of the new in-colours in the catalogue. It’s called Fresh Freesia and it’s so pretty. It is the same colour in the pansy patterned paper and cardstock.
