Make a Candy Cane Pouch for Christmas – Holly Jolly Wishes – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Lincoln UK.

I make one of these candy cane pouches each year and this is my offering this time. I hope you like it. It is very easy to make and a lovely little gift to any house guest over Christmas.

I’ve used the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) which has lovely small patterns perfect for small projects such as these. I should warn you though to never eat any sweets, chocolates or candy canes you find in my craft room as they have been used and reused in project samples and are well out of date!! These candy canes are from last year. The good stuff is kept in the pantry.

Gutting Paper – Dies – Easy Birthday Card – Tutorial – Sunny Sentiments – You’re a Peach – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This is a very simple card you can make quickly when you need a card. The designer series paper (DSP) is You’re a Peach. I gutted the first layer to make the matt for my circle. This gaping hole in the paper is of course covered by the second layer. Clever!!

Peach season is long since gone but we can still use the pretty paper and relive the memories of summer. I love this paper and will continue to use it throughout the year. It is so bright and beautiful.

Using Harvest Meadow DSP to Make a Box Bag

Using Harvest Meadow DSP to Make a Box Bag – Dressed to Impress – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This is a bag but it has a rectangular base like a box. As the patterned paper is wrapped around the base there are no corners but rather these lovely curves instead. I’ve made this bag before earlier this year and wanted to try it again for Autumn with this Harvest Meadow designer series paper (DSP).

Animal Outing – Kangaroo Card – Stampin’ Up!

This fun card features the Animal Outing stamp set. I am sad to say that this set and the matching dies are retiring on 2nd June 2020. This is the first time I’ve used this set and I am so glad I have before it retires.

As you may know, my mother’s family are South African. Some of the family though have left SA to go to Australia. This card reminds me of them as well as a dear school friend who is living in Sydney. I’ve coloured the image in using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers as well as the colour lifter. It turned out well I think.

I am trying to use up my stock before it retires. The green here is Call me Clover and the pink is Lovely Lipstick. These are both part of the outgoing 2018 -2020 in colours. If you love these as much as I do them I would urge you to stock up on supplies now.

I hope you are all doing well. Unfortunately, I am still struggling a little. I am determined to keep on posting on my blog though every week. What are you doing to keep your spirits up? Crafting is good for me, in particular colouring and painting. I can lose myself in the movement of colours on the paper and they way they mix.
