Making a Small Gift Box using the “In the Wild” Paper – Sunny Sentiments – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – Lincoln UK

This cute little gift box is a companion piece to the card I made in the previous blog post. It uses the gorgeous “In the Wild” designer series paper. The paper is all about the big cats, mainly tigers and leopards. I’ve focused on the tigers for both this box and the previous card.

I do hope that Stampin’ Up! will bring out another collection with animals from the veld such as elephants, zebras & giraffes. I loved seeing them in the national parks back in South Africa. If you didn’t know all my maternal family are back in South Africa so it holds a special place for me.

This little box holds four little love hearts. What a dinky little gift. I have a little box of sweets and chocolates in my craft room that I keep specifically to use for craft projects. This box is designed to fit these sweets. I have tons of the Pansy Petals designer series paper (DSP) which I am trying to use up. It’s way too pretty not to use.

How to Make a Sweet Talk – Fold Flat Gift Box – Hydgrangea Haven – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Lincoln UK.

How cute is this little box? I’ve made it a few times and always love how easy it is to construct. This is my Valentine’s version using the Sweet Talk designer series paper (DSP) from the new catalogue. The trick to making sure everything folds together easily is to round the corners of the flaps on the bottom and top closures.

There is an easy reference template below alongside the video tutorial. Do check it out and then share your creations in my Facebook group.

This paper is the new Heart & Home designer series paper (DSP). It reminds me of Spring which is hopefully on its way soon. I have a ton of these boxes in the craft room, just waiting to be gifted out.

This is a fun box to make. A little twist on a normal treat box. It can look complicated to make but if you follow the template below it really is very easy to make.

The paper used is the new Sweet Talk designer series paper. It is meant for Valentine’s but works equally well for birthdays. It is fun, bright and full of joy. What more could you want?

Sometimes I just have to do with traditional colours. Here they are Real Red and Mossy Meadow (Green). They look great together as they are complementary colours in the colour wheel. This means they are directly opposite to each other on the colour wheel. This makes the colours really pop when used together.

This box is very easy to make and I would certainly love to receive a special gift housed in this box. I do hope you give it a go and show me your creations in my Facebook group.

I will confess this wasn’t my idea. I was struggling with an idea for a little gift box and so of course I went hunting on Pinterest for inspiration. So, I saw this cute gift box and this is my version. Thank you so much to whoever thought of this first, I love it.

What sweets or chocolates would you put in this cutie? I have to say I don’t eat much chocolate or sweets unless I’m having a period of low blood sugar called a hypo. I’m a type 1 diabetic by the way. I never can match my insulin to the sugar in sweets so just avoid it. It’s just easier for me since I don’t have a sweet tooth. If I had to chose I would put in celebrations though. Let me know your choices!

I love this little gift box. It’s something different from the usual. I made another version using the Sweet Symmetry designer series paper (DSP). This one uses the Tidings of Christmas DSP. Once you get the hang of making them they are so easy to make and replicate in bulk. The Cherry Cobbler and Gold Ribbon just makes this box really sing for Christmas don’t you think?
