Tucked in Lid Cute Gift Box – Stampin’ Up!

I have a cute little gift box with a tucked in lid to share with you today. This is a perfect size for a piece of jewelry or even some charms for a favourite charm bracelet.

This three tone purple ribbon is lovely. I never used it when it first came out but I’ve changed that now. Do you like it? This box is very easy to make. I made a template and once you have a template you can make as many as you like. You can store them flat and just seal up the base when you want to use them. Here is the template.

I love little bags and boxes. They are perfect to give small gifts to special someones. It is so nice to give little gifts to people when they least expect it. Bringing a smile to someone’s face is one of the greatest gifts you can give.

It’s a Dog’s Life – Pampered Pets – Stampin’ Up!

Normally if you say “It’s a Dog’s Life” you mean someone is having a miserable time of it. However when I see the the two little dogs that life up the road off on their walks, I think actually a dog’s life doesn’t sound too bad at times.

This dog image is from the Pampered Pets stamp set which in turn is part of the Pampered Pets suite of products. This suite includes designer series paper (DSP), stamp set and matching dies, charms and of course ribbon. I love the suite and it is perfect for both dog and cat lovers.

This little doggie reminds me of Jock from the film Lady and the Tramp. I love him. He is so cute!!! Of course he has a bling collar, what self respecting dog wouldn’t!!!

Yellow Irises – Inspiring Iris – Stampin’ Up!

I have this lovely floral card featuring these beautiful yellow irises. It makes for this bright and sunny congratulations card.

There are only flowers stamps used here. If you vary the height and angle of the stamps you will stop it look like repeat stamping. The stamps give quite a sketchy appearance which helps to cover up any mistakes in colouring.

The images are coloured in using the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. I’ve used quite a few colours to blend the yellows. I love colouring, it is such relaxing past time when I’m feeling stressed and anxious.

I’ve used the Holiday Rhinestones to fill some of the white space. To me, it looks like pollen blowing around in the breeze. I’m so pleased they carried over as I love all the

Just a Note – Butterly Gala – Stampin’ Up!

This is a simple card when you just what to send just a note to someone. I love how these bright butterflies look on the woodgrain background. I’ve stamped on coloured cardstock which is in itself unusual for me but I like the effect.

This card features two in-colours, Magenta Madness and Just Jade. I’ve used rhinestones to give the butterflies some sparkly bodies. I’ve done a previous card using these butterflies to make a rainbow effect. They stamp beautifully and of course, they have a coordinating punch.

The In Good Taste DSP is a lovely neutral collection of patterns. They are are perfect for male cards. You can stamp on them and they are make great backgrounds for all types of cards.

Under my Umbrella – Stampin’ Blends Markers

I have this cute, bright and sunny card to share with you today. I knew I wanted to get “Under My Umbrella” the minute I saw it in the catalogue. The flowers growing in the wellies are just so dinky.

I debated what colours to use in this card and eventually went for so saffron, balmy blue, highland heather and old olive. I think they make the card look like a summer’s day.

Everything is coloured in using the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. I love the seamless colouring and easy shading of the Stampin’ Blends. What is your favourite colouring medium? I do love watercolouring but the Blends are great for quick and easy colouring too.

Pop of Petals Congratulations Card

I have a beautiful floral card to share with you today. It uses the Pop of Petals stamps set and matching punch. This card does pop and is a lovely bright congratulations card for any flower lover. I love flowers and feel sad as the flowers start to die and Autumn comes. This card can keep them alive.

I love the pinks in this card. They are Melon Mambo, Rococo Rose and Lovely Lipstick. These colours all work so well together. I’ve given this card some bling with rhinestone centres for the flowers.

These little flowers from the Pop of Petals set are a great way to use up all those scraps we have lying around our craft rooms. A card like this one is great for children to make as they can stamp all the flowers and punch them out. They can have great fun arranging and glueing down all the flowers and leaves however takes their fancy.
