Festive Friends – Relax and Make a Fun Christmas Card. – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

The run-up to Christmas can sometimes feel a little overwhelming, but I’ve found that taking time out to craft is the perfect way to relax and reset. Today, I’m sharing a cheerful and easy project featuring the Festive Friends stamp set and coordinating dies.

A Cheerful Christmas Scene

For this card, I wanted to capture the fun and whimsy of Christmas, so I reached for Santa, his trusty elf, and a friendly snowman. These images work beautifully together to create a light-hearted festive scene that is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face.

Colouring with Stampin’ Blends

The images are all coloured in using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. They’re one of my favourite tools because they make shading and blending so simple. It’s an easy way to bring stamped images to life, and the process of colouring is wonderfully relaxing. In fact, this is one of those projects where you can sit back with a cuppa, enjoy the creative flow, and forget about the busyness of the season for a while.

• Blueberry Bushell / Azure Afternoon Cardstock – A6 Card Base – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half.
• Basic White Cardstock – 14.35cm X 10cm X 2 pieces
• Balmy Blue designer series paper (DSP) – 13.85cm X 9.5cm
