Ombre Stamping – Make a Simple Birthday Card – Biggest Wish – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! – Lincoln UK

I am resisting the Ombre technique. This allows you to merge two similar tones of colour on one image. It looks great and the best part is, that it’s very easy to achieve.

You can use a sponge dauber, blending brush or piece of sponge to achieve this effect. I stamped my image, which is my birthday sentiment in one lightest colour. In this example that is Flirty Flamingo. I then inked up the bottom part of the image with the darker colour and restamped it.

• Calypso Coral / Lost Lagoon cardstock – A6 Card Base – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half.
• Basic White Cardstock – 14.35cm X 10cm
• Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper – 13.85cm X 5.5cm
