I love to read, do you? I know we have digital books but there is something special about real books. Nothing can beat it. I do admit I will buy fiction books digitally but never nonfiction. It’s just too hard to keep referencing back to previous pages digitally.

Making your own bookmarks is so easy and why not have something pretty to keep your page? This bookmark is a magnetic one. I bought the magnet pairs online a few years ago and still have tons left.

The inspiration for this project is the neighbourhood ginger cat. I don’t know where his home is but he loves to sunbath either in my drive or garden.

I was proud of this idea of a rainbow bridge made using the cloud punch. The highlights on the clouds are made using a white gel pen. The little kitty sitting under the bridge waiting for his owner is coloured using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers.

It is always difficult making cards such as these but I hope this would bring comfort.

The rainbow bridge is a pastel rainbow and my colours are:

  • Petal Pink
  • Calypso Coral
  • Lemon Lolly
  • Soft Sea Foam
  • Balmy Blue
  • Highland Heather

measurements

  • Balmy Blue Cardstock – A6 Card Base – this is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half
  • Basic White Cardstock – 14.35cm X 10cm X 2 pieces

This is a very simple card but I absolutely love the sentiment. The little kitty next to the door is extra cute. I think it’s great to send a card just to let someone know they are not alone.

The card is coloured using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. I love them as they are easy to blend and more importantly I enjoy using them. Which colouring medium is your favourite?

I enjoyed making this card. The presents are actually just one stamp. I stamped it a few times and then cut them apart to create this stack of presents. The little kittie sitting atop the pile is just adorable. You just know the whole pile is going to fall over when he jumps off.

I’ve coloured these images using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers which as you know I love. The cards are done in two colour ways. Which do you prefer?
