Autumn Style Thank You Card – Made Easy

Autumn Style Thank You Card – Made Easy – Beauty of Friendship – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This card is so simple but so effective. I used the Beauty of the Earth designer series paper (DSP) to cut out the canopy of the tree. It is the same paper I’ve used in the background. I gutted the centre of the paper to make the tree canopy. This means I cut out the centre and then still use the outer shell. The basic white layer on top hides all the mess. This is a great way to make your DSP stretch further.

Colour me Beautiful – Grateful Card

Colour me Beautiful – Grateful Card – Beautiful Penned DSP – Ornate Thanks – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This card uses only one colour, Polished Pink, I don’t count black and white as colours and doesn’t it look fabulous. I love pink flowers they are so bold and happy. These flowers are coloured using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. A firm favourite of mine to colour with as they make shading so easy.

I Just Wanted to Say Thank You – Card – Art Gallery – Two Step Stamping – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I love these flowers from the Art Gallery stamp set. I’ve used them a number of times and they are always the star of the show. In and around Lincoln I’ve been seeing lots of red poppies. This inspired me to do some red flowers for this card. The gilded gems for the flower centres are the perfect finishing touch.

How to Use the Flowers & Friendship – Thank You Card – Independent Stampin Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

A really simple design. I find I am using lots of banners and strips of paper in my cards now days. This is a great way to use up scraps and not waste anything. I’ve coloured these lovely flowers using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. The colour is Blackberry Bliss and really pops against the white.

Making a Large Gift Bag – No Cutting Needed – Hydrangea Hills – Fine Art Floral – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I’ve made this type of bag quite a few times. It is great if you are new to paper crafting or to do with children as no cutting is required. This bag uses a full piece of 12″ X 12″ paper / cardstock and makes a good size bag. The paper I’ve used here is the Hydrangea Hills designer series paper (DSP). It is so pretty. More importantly is that it has no specific direction which is important if you don’t want part of your image to be upside down.

How to use Birds & Branches Stamp Set in a Card – Friendship Card – Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

The Birds & Branches stamp set has sat in my stash for nearly a year unused. I wanted to use it but have always struggled to use birds in my cards. What do you think of this one? I think it really works with the sentiment.

The birds are stamped with the two- step stamping technique. This gives them their yellow and brown plumage. You could try any combinations of plumage of your choice but I preferred the So Saffron and Soft Suede. The foliage I die cut out of Mossy Meadow cardstock with adhesive sheet on the back. This made them super easy to stick down. If you have’t ever used adhesive sheet I would highly recommend you try it as it makes it so easy to stick down intricate die cuts.

Make a Simple Thank You Card – Beauty Abounds stamp set – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This is a super simple card to make. The background is stamped. I love stamping my own backgrounds as I can make them bespoke to me. I’ve used the Beauty Abounds set and these pretty bokeh style circles in Coastal Cabana. The deeper colour is Pretty Peacock and it goes so well with Coastal Cabana.

The butterflies from Butterfly Gala have a matching punch. I’ve picked up on the butterflies again with this cute little butterfly gems in Pretty Peacock. Easy Peasy!!

How to Make A Poppy Thank You Card

How to Make A Poppy Thank You Card – Painted Poppies – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This is a really simple card to make but it is simply stunning if I do say so myself. The stamp set is Painted Poppies and the other aptly enough is Poppy Parade. When the poppy suite came out in the mini catalogue last year, I was in love. I’ve used it numerous times and I will be keeping this set forever, even after it perhaps retires. I will link some of the other projects I’ve used it in below.

I stamped the image of the poppies twice to get a long enough panel and then coloured them using the Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. Isn’t great how everything matches in the world of Stampin’ Up!

This dragonfly is from a new stamp set called “Dragonfly Garden”. It also comes with a matching punch. The designer series paper (DSP), the stamp set and punch were part of a bundle of products we could order ahead of Onstage at Home. Onstage at Home was our virtual convention that happened through the magic of computers. We used these items for the make and takes and I have been waiting for ages to share it with you.
