How I Made a Non-Dimensional Shaker Card – Heart – Friday Focus – In Bloom – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – Lincoln UK.

Welcome to the latest post in my Friday Focus series. Today we are looking at making a shaker card with no dimension. As you know in April we have been looking at things Shaker Cards. I’ve used the heart punch pack to create this little shaker window.

The Sweet Talk designer series paper (DSP) is Valentine’s paper but I think it works perfectly for this birthday card. I love all the shades of red and pink. So pretty and of course fun to make.

Check Out Focus Friday – Embossing Folders – Ornate Floral – In Bloom – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Lincoln UK

I hope this finds you well. This year I’ve decided to shake things on my blog. I will still post three times a week as normal, so don’t worry. Today I introduce to you my first offering in a new series called “Focus Friday”. Let me explain.

Each month this year we will be focusing on a different tool or product. Each Friday we will try out a different technique with that product or tool. For January I have chosen embossing folders. Each Friday this month we will make a card using an embossing folder in a different way.

Today we are using the embossing folder in the most simple way to add interest to the background. I’ve paired it with a gorgeous floral frame from the Eden dies and a simple sentiment.

Make Your Own Patterned Paper – Stamp Your Own – In Bloom – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I love stamping my own patterned paper. You can choose your own colours and designs to make a bespoke piece of paper that is unique to you. It is such fun and I should really do it more often.

I’ve used the In Bloom stamp set which with its matching dies, Pierced Blooms are a current staple in my craft room. The colours are my favourite teals of Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay.

Making a Card with a Hidden Tag / Gift Card – Peaceful Prints DSP / Beautifully Penned DSP – In Bloom – Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This is a reworking of a card we made recently in card club. I love this hidden pocket feature that can hold a tag or a gift card. It is so much fun and you still have all the space inside the card to write a special message. The Peaceful Prints designer series paper (DSP) is a Christmas collection. This green print though can be used any time of the year. It’s just a simple muted design. So great!!
