I know a few people who are having babies soon so decided to make some cards. This is one of them. I like this bunny suit. It’s so cute!!! Everything is coloured with the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. Such an easy card to make but so sweet.

Thinking of Others – Make a Pretty Card – Art Gallery – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I love these layered flower sets. This one is called Art Gallery. I’m writing this blog a couple of days before Christmas. A friend of my mothers has gone into hospital for a knee replacement operation. I made this card to send to her and I thought I would share it with you. The epoxy clear gems in the centre of the flowers make the card pop and give it dimension.

Roses – To a Wild Rose – Stampin’ Up!

Thank you for visiting. I have this beautiful floral card to share with you to featuring the To a Wild Rose stamp set. I have to say that unlike a lot of people roses aren’t my favourite flowers. It’s because I think, many are scented and they just give me hayfever. Having said that I still like them and admire them but they can’t surpass my tulips.

This stamp set is an older one and has been sitting in my stash for a while, never being used so I decided to bite the bullet as they say and use it. It is a layering stamps so works great with the stamparatus and makes the layering super easy. I decided to do the outline in black so that the colour would tie in with the sentiment.

The colours used for the flower are Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo. I double stamped the colour at times to give a deeper hue. The leaves are Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive.

Our beautiful red rose outside the front door has nearly finished flowering. My mother dead headed it recently and we are hoping that we will a second flush of flowers later on in the year.

More and More Thank Yous – Ornate Thanks

I have another thank you card to share with you today. I seem to be making more and more thank yous at the moment. This card uses the Ornate Thanks stamp set. I love the big & bold sentiments.

The designer series paper (DSP) is called Perennial Essence. I loved this paper when it came out and I have only used it ONCE!! Bad me!! I’ve used it again today and I still love it. It is so pretty and floral. I’ve cut a strip into the three smaller strips so that it looks like you are seeing the scene through a window.

The pinks in the DSP are Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink and I used these again in the cardstock and ink so that the card feels harmonious.

I am glad that we seemed to be blessed with good weather. It is so much more pleasant to look at a sunny garden that a dreary wet one. In the UK we have now been on “lockdown” 5 weeks and it is becoming, unfortunately, more normal. We are coping ok though I do find it hard not being to drive to the next village for a walk in the fields. I am so grateful that I have crafting to keep me busy and sane in the mean time.

From My Heart Balloons – Card Tutorial

I have this cute card to share with you today that I’m calling From My Heart Balloons. It combines both the From My Heart Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Balloon Bouquet punch.

I love that Stampin’ Up! makes coordination so easy but I need to remember that just because a suite of products has specific items in it, they can be mix and matched with all the other items in the catalogue. Here, I ‘ve used scraps of the From My Heart DSP not with the coordinating Heart punch but with the Balloon Bouquet punch to create heart patterned balloons.

I love the way the balloons are carrying the sentiment along in the wind. Indeed with the wind we’ve been having, I’m surprised they are not halfway to France by now.

I will admit I’m not the over-romantic sort and so paper covered in hearts would not normally appeal to me but I love this collection. I think it is because I love Real Red which is the red in this collection.

Maltesers Box – From My Heart – Stampin’ Up!

This box turns a simple box of Maltesers into something special. It is very easy to make and the paper does all the talking.

As I said this is a great way to jazz up a box of Maltesers. I’ve used the From My Heart Designer Series Paper (DSP). It is a great paper for Valentines’Day but also for any occasion when you want to celebrate someone. I love the foiling on each sheet which adds a touch of luxury.

The box is made in the style of a pizza box from one sheet of 12″ x 12″ paper. This includes the belly band. I would love to send this to an old school friend of mine in Sydney but I don’t think it would hold up in the post so I will have to send it via this blog.

Detailed Hearts Die – Valentine’s Day Card

I have this beautiful Valentine’s Day Card to share with you today. This uses the delicate Detailed Hearts Die. Oh my but’s so lovely and dainty. I love it!!

This die is part of the Valentine’s Day suite in the new catalogue. The colours in the paper are Flirty Flamingo and Real Red so I decided to design this card with the same colours.

The Detailed Hearts Die is all one die. Most of the little hearts pop out and I am saving these to use on a shaker card. You can hide the adhesive behind the few hearts that don’t pop out or use an adhesive sheet as I have done here.

I used the Scripty embossing folder on the real red piece to give it some added interest behind the die-cut. All in all, this is a very simple and easy card to make but really has that wow factor.

Punched Love Hearts Card Tutorial – Stampin’ Up!

I’m back with this gorgeous punched love hearts card. This project uses products from the new Spring / Summer catalogue. Real Red is one of my favourite colours and here is paired with a colour I never use Flirty Flamingo. I think they go together rather well.

The designer series paper (DSP), “From My Heart” is beautiful. It has foiled hearts in both Real Red and Flirty Flamingo. The hearts are punched out with the duo pack hearts punch. I’ve fussy cut out the small hearts.

There are quite a few new punches in the new catalogue. I love this return to punches as they make for easy and simple crafting. They are easy to use in classes and require no additional machine to use.
