This is so easy to make. It’s a lovely little notebook to keep your bag for notes, shopping lists or even your Stampin’ Up! wish list. I love notebooks, planners and journals and have quite a collection. You always need a pretty notebook for a new project. You can make a couple of these from a sheet of A4 cardstock so they are quite economical as well.

  • Pacific Point Cardstock – 8 1/2″ X 3 1/2″, scored at 4 1/8″ on either side on the long side

Pink Cat Card – Nine Lives – Stampin’ Up!

I am calling this my Pink Cat Card. The pink is Melon Mambo which is one of my favourite pink colour. In this card, it is combined with cats which I adore.

I love cats and dogs but mostly cats. I have been through several periods of poor mental health and still suffer from anxiety. Cats are a great source of comfort for me. I feel safe and accepted by them. When I saw this set, therefore, I knew it was one for me.

Nine Lives is a two-step stamp set. You can stamp the cat as an outline, with patches or with stripes. The Stampartus comes into its own for stamps like these. The cat does have a matching punch but I’ve used it here.

Cat in the Box – Cute little Gift Box

Today I have a cute little gift box perfect for any cat lover. This project features the Nine Lives stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and the matching cat punch. I love sets with punches because they make creating so easy and simple.

I love cats but am highly allergic to many of them, especially if they have longer hair. The shorter the hair the better. When I worked in London I used to be a finance office in social services and spent a good part of my week visiting clients at home. I was walking down a street and saw this gorgeous moggy with long hair and couldn’t resist stroking it. It was a big mistake as I must have touched my eye afterwards. Within half an hour my eye closed up. YIKES!!! I, therefore, have to love them from afar.

This cute little box is made from gorgeous grape cardstock and the matching designer series paper (DSP) family packs.

  • Gorgeous Grape cardstock 9 x 6 inches, scored on the long side at 2, 3 1/2, 5 1/2 & 7 inches. Scored on the short side at 1 1/2 inches on either side.

The Nine Lives stamp set is a two-step stamp set which allows you to stamp the cat with different markings. This is fabulous as all cats have such different and distinctive markings. If you are a dog person there is a set called Happy Tails also with a matching punch!!!
