Make a Striking Birthday Card – Use Your Die Cuts – Many Layered Blossoms Die – Blossoms in Bloom – Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK – Crafting with Ashee.

This image is all one die cut. Can you believe it? It’s so pretty. You could either used an adhesive sheet on the cardstock before you die cut or just good old tombow. It die-cuts beautifully and looks so striking. The background DSP is Peaceful Prints. The sentiment is matted on the sparkly Be Dazzling Paper. Both of these papers were free during Sale-a-bration.

Stretch Your Supplies – How to Gut Paper – Harvest Meadow – Quiet Meadow – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

A simple and beautiful card for a sad occasion. I backed the focal image on the designer series paper that is matted on the cardbase. Gutting means cutting out the interior of the paper leaving just a shell. I used the Stampin’ Up! trimmer which makes this so easy. This is a great way to save paper and stretch your supplies.

Autumn Style Thank You Card – Made Easy

Autumn Style Thank You Card – Made Easy – Beauty of Friendship – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This card is so simple but so effective. I used the Beauty of the Earth designer series paper (DSP) to cut out the canopy of the tree. It is the same paper I’ve used in the background. I gutted the centre of the paper to make the tree canopy. This means I cut out the centre and then still use the outer shell. The basic white layer on top hides all the mess. This is a great way to make your DSP stretch further.
